Star Wars Megathread

Is there any chance they would retcon or remake the entire sequel trilogy?

Because no matter what happens or how good the series is between the original trilogy and sequels, it's still a shit sandwich at the end.

It's like a gymnast doing a perfect routine and then completely flubbing the landing. Just ruins everything.

It's pretty depressing that Disney completely ruined a decades long and arguably one of the best intellectual properties of all time.

I don't understand why the new season of the Mandalorian is doing so bad. I personally have enjoyed the season so far and liking the new potential things that are being built up - such as the resurrection of the Mandalorians as a force.
I saw an article today saying they just came out with ratings for the S3E1 episode and the "doing bad" stuff were rumors. They also said S3E1 had more viewers than past season premieres.

Those Orange lightsabers have only showed up in a canon video game with no explanation... but Legends insinuates it's typically a sithy thing... though it wouldn't be your typical Sith that uses them.

I'm thinking this is a new "sect" of force uses... like an isolated group with perhaps their own religion. So far we've seen a Master, an apprentice... & fook me a turned inquisitor all wielding them. No telling how many their numbers are.

If you look closely at teh glow sticks that Thrawn's droids are holding... they've got that orange tint... & so my theory is that this "sect" of force users work directly for Thrawn.

This looks amazing btw. I'm a huge Ahsoka fan... & Roserio pullz it off to perfection... (outside of her "tendril reduction surgery" :p) so I'm going to be loving this!!!

Something tells me Filoni and Favreau are going to attempt to retcon the stink out of the recent trilogy.

I only heard of the "world between worlds" from this video for the first time and apparently time travel is involved. The Rey trilogy can be its own timeline. This way there can be a new story of Luke Skywalker after the original trilogy's events. Mark Hamill hated his roles in the recent trilogy as everyone else seem to have lol.

the world between worlds for sure makes it possible but I'm afraid they're gonna double down on thr ST

New movie announced based on Rey rebuilding teh Jedi Academy 15 years after teh sequelz.

I'd love to see them give her teh god-like powers we were expecting from Luke. We've already seen her with immense power & that waz before she recognized teh full power teh Dyad gave her.

These days it seems that if some people don't get exactly what they want they piss all over it rather than being open to whatever the creators come up with.

By now, the execs should know what they need more of and what they need less of and who to put in charge of what.

~Regarding Darksaber Ownership~

We don't know "how" Gideon acquired it... & so unless he can prove he beat the previous rightful owner for it... it would seem he was never teh rightful holder. As I understand it... even if he beat Bo... Teh darksaber was last "officially won" by Sabine Wren.

Maybe...
<TheWire1>

(Maybe?)

I'd like to challenge the path of teh Darksaber prior to Gideon & maybe even before Sabine Wren "found" it.
...there's 2 ways to do it:
  1. If you have to formally challenge for it... for teh roolership to be official... then Maul died with the rool... & so Sabine Wren... who found the darksaber after Maul's death... & then defended it... is teh rightful rooler.
  2. If you can beat them without a formal challenge... and be considered rooler... then Rey Skywalker... is the rightful rooler of Mandalore!

  • Pre Visla > Maul > Sid > Rey
Sid beat Maul who was wielding teh darksaber ...& also killed Maul's brother in the same duel.

Note: Since Sid survived the duel with Vader, while Vader died from Sid's attack... that means that Sid won their fight & held official rool until he waz defeated by Rey.

(It's kind of fun to consider that if Sid was teh rightful ruler of Mandalore... then he was well within his legal rights to strip Mandalore of it's resources. :D)

Note: Obi- Beat pre-visla before Maul did, but the fight wasn't concluded... (Visla cheated)

...but if we wanted to credit Obi with an official win... we'd have to figure out who the next person to defeat Obi was. We know Dooku did... (pre-visla > Obi > Dooku > Ani > Sid > Rey) but it's very possible someone else beat Obi before that event.

Okay, if you don't buy that obi win... (since Pre Visla cheated by calling for help)... then it's back to Pre-visla > Maul > Sid > Rey.

Anyone need their Kohlen checked?

Sweet!!! There's another mention of Orange Saber'z in canon that tell us a lot more!!

In teh Canon book "Master & Apprentice"
(Quigon & Obi)
...they have orange "Kohlen Crystals..." nicknamed: "Fool's Kyber" because although they appear to be Kybers... (& even weigh teh same) on a microscopic level, they're much different.

They can however, power a light saber... & Qui-Gon Jinn witnessed that they have "some vibration with the force..." but it's weaker than a Kyber... & teh Kohlen powered light-saber is weaker than a Kyber powered saber. (though I expect either would chop your head off or slash a droid in half.)

Pijal's moon is the only place you can find teh Kohlenz.

A division of teh Pijal Royal Guard, called "the blackguard" developed an energy shield wit teh Kohlen that a light saber cannot penetrate. Later they used the Kohlenz in a lightsaber and were surprised to find that a "Kohlen powered lightsaber" could penetrate a "Kohlen shield."
<TheWire1>

2 guyz discovered a huge cache of Kohlens & did a mining operation thinking they could sell these "Kybers" to the jedi... but after being disappointed that they weren't real Kybers... they had to find another buyer.

"Czerka Arms"... a weapons company thousands of yearz old and rumored by some to be older than the Republic itself, made teh purchase. So there's no telling who they sold too or what else they made.

imo... Orange saberz lean very heavily toward Master Skoll's group being teh Blackguard... but they very well could be with anyone who bought weapons from Czerka Arms.

Those HK-87 assassin droids (that attacked Asoka)...had Thrawn's "chimaera symbol" on their lid

250

...& their "electro-staff spears were glowing orange :eek::eek:

So perhaps Thrawn bought a bunch of Kohlen weapons from Czerka Armz... or even teh Chiss community as a whole could've bought them anticipating a future war wit teh Jedi.

Thrawn's minion Morgan Elsbeth... had 2 of those same assassin droids in "Mando Chapter 13" (where Ahsoka first met Grogu)... so maybe Master Skrull's people are a part of her group... or they joined forces or something.

Interesting stuff. However it works out though... the orange glow on light sabers & thrawn's electro-spears seem to make it pretty fooking clear that Skrull's crew will be taking orders from Thrawn!

I have this book too, just haven’t got around to reading it yet, been slacking

Watched the trailer for Visions Season 2. A few looked like good animation. A few looked like they will really suck.
