Star Wars Megathread

can anybody give me any info on “underrated moments in Star Wars” on YouTube ?

1: is the comic art from a real comic and what’s the name of it/is it available for purchase or readable online

2: is it really canon

thanks in advance

Andor teaser, Mon Mothma…

Finally, a SW show about a Jedi master his conflict with the Sith.
I’ve been getting really tired of these side show bob characters like Boba Fett taking up prime time, the only exception being Mandalorian.

Can't wait for Disney to lure fans in with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen only to shit on their characters to make Moses Ingram's character the star. Inclusivity ftw.

Yeah I'mma pass. Revenge of the Sith is my favorite Star Wars film and Disney has already fucked the franchise beyond repair.

There's a user on Sherdog called Myrddin Wild. Myrddin Wild thinks that you're the opposite of a Star Wars fan.

In my opinion, Myrddin Wild is a corporate shill that will be happy with any decision that Walt Disney Corporation makes with Star Wars.

Yes, I realize that Walt Disney Corporation is the current owner of Star Wars.

@Myrddin Wild

Apparently they also released a teaser for Mando season 3
People are saying it looks great. They’re still filming it but Bo-Katan looks to be the antagonist of this season.

Nice try

Any chance you might consider that others think differently than yourself & might like thingz you don't?

I've heard that bullshit before from the very people who were actually the problem in those threads.

I came to my first ever social media outlet (sherdog) and was soooo excited that they had Star Wars threads. Boiy waz I mistaken about that one, because the resistance had taken over & were bullying everyone out who had anything positive to say.

They bullied the wrong redneck though when they tried that shit on me. I find it such a lesson in irony that "after I gave them a taste of their own medicine... they then called the mods on me for bullying them!!!!" FFS, that couldn't be more backwards. I never strike first. I just retaliate when struck. So the problem was always folk like yourself who just want to stir shit up.

If you want to put that into Star Wars terms... "Darkness rises, and the light to meet it"

(do you even get that quote?)

I'm just a fan who happens to had loved the prequels & was shocked by the backlash... & thank god I wasn't on social media during that time. I also loved the sequels and the whole triple trilogy... (all 11) so your "ANALYSIS OF ME" is falling a bit short here. I'm willing to help you though. Lets try & get to the root of your issues & do some constructive conversations that might actually do some good.

Hadn’t heard of this channel but quickly browsed it
Yes the art is from actual comics, and some of his vids are about canon comics while others are legends comics

His latest vid is about a young Obi-Wan and that comic was just released a few weeks ago, it’s part 1 of a limited series

I read all my comics directly from the Marvel app but I do know there are other sites where you can download theses comics

Obviously, you have positive things to say about Walt Disney Corporation (because you work for Walt Disney Corporation).

Can you believe it? I love Episode III.

In my opinion, Episode I has its problems. However, that movie introduced Maul. Also, I love the music in that movie.

In my opinion, Episode II has interesting ideas in it. Also, the parts where Ewan McGregor is investigating are awesome.

At this point, it's obvious that we'll have to agree to disagree. You're set in your ways and I'm set in mine.

GearSolidMetal, what do you think? Does Myrddin Wild work for Walt Disney Corporation or not? My instincts tell me that he's a shill.

@GearSolidMetal

I consider the prequels up there with one of the greatest stories ever told.

Sid growz up on Nabuu which lead to his eventual political position which he later used to legally rule everyone as an empire. Early on... after Sith training from Darth Plagueis, he kills Plag... because he'z the obvious Alpha in the Sith equation.

He'z soo fooking sly that he doesn't even get teh yellow eye of the Sith and can interact with his fellow politicians as a role that he's playing. He'z so fooking sly that he's learned to turn off his "force" ...to the point Yoda himself didn't detect him. None of them did.

Sid created a war, that Palpatine rallied the Senate to act upon. He was the leader of both sides of the clone wars tricking "The Trade Federation" into attacking while supplying a clone army to oppose them. Fooking Brilliant!!! It gets better... he attacked HIS OWN FOOKING PLANET!!!!...
[<dunn]

...so that he could get the emotion from the senate to vote him in as head of the Senate. He eventually took over the senate when "his war" escalated to the point where he had no other choice but to take full control over the failed Senate for as long as he deemed necessary. (the empire) Of coarse he never deemed it necessary to give back the power... lol... which was his plan all along. That's a helluva story & a helluva lesson about politicians.

I enjoyed the actors as well. Some people don't like the casting... I do. I was shocked a decade later when I saw people didn't like young anakin to the point that it caused him durress at school & it was a real problem for him. I didn't have a single problem with his performance that was seamless with the movie imo. I love me a good Star Wars creature... & I didn't have the first 2nd thought about Jar Jar & was completely blindsided by the resistance to his character. (y'all are responsible we didn't get Darth Jar Jar...)

Bro... These SW's threads are now being actively monitored for banter like you're doing right now.

Episode I : Sure jar jar is annoying, and the force going biological pissed me off...but overall I thought the movie wasnt that bad. The music,Liam Nessons, and Darth Maul were solid
Episode II : This is where it started to go bad for me. The acting was way too wooden, and it seemed by design because several actors in this movie have done better everywhere else, and Ian Mcdarmid dont give two shits what the director tells him, dudes gonna act his ass off. Christopher Lee phoned it in,cos that shit he can do in his sleep, its not exactly a challenging role. Thats the thing, you have some of these guys...SO MUCH MORE could have been done with them. Samuel L seems like a total waste of having him on,since it sounds like hes just reading fucking lines. Hayden Christensen is the worst, but what hope did he have with some of the cheesy lines they gave him, lol. I will say the part when Obi Wan visits the clone facility,THAT Shit was really cool.

Episode III : Well,It has its moments, but obviously Anakin sufferes from Danerys disease, where his heel turn happens rather abruptly despite the fact they had 3 movies to set it up.The thing that really killed me though is the final scenes. We waited all this time, and Amidala dies of a broken heart? what?? thats the lamest shit ever. Oh and even though shes dying she names her kids, like she's fine and then dies. what?? Dont rush this,we waited all this time! The was no real payoff. It could have been done so much better. I was really pissed off on that and sitll am.

Both those guys you tagged got double yellows and nearly banned last time in here

Mods are keeping an eye on this thread so probably best not to stir the pot with those guys
It’s been a civil thread lately, hopefully stays that way

Well said doctor... I concur.

What's the significance of the numbered naming convention of the inquisitors? Are they the same people in Rebels and in Obiwan or are they like currently playing 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base where diff people can fill that spot on the roster?

I heard Skeleton Crew is gonna be KK's fun thing to be like Goonies. I'm guessing it'll stink.

Star Wars has become comfort food for a lot of people, so they'll find what to like about any new production even if it's just Star Wars tourism - seeing again the locations and the characters they enjoyed in better productions. So I wouldn't throw the shill argument around against normies - like what you like, whatever.

The hyperbolic media with their constant insults following any criticism I would absolutely call shills, though.

I'm more on the side of just legitimately enjoying Star Wars while others seem to have a religious agenda behind it, but this all belongs in the OT because it is off topic. Can we please move these discusions there, because the grown ups & people who know what teh fook they're talking about are trying to discuss important SW's stuff here.

There seems to be only one group of them, and so their numbered names are currently specific to each individual.

Their existence is largely kept secret from the galaxy at large and so that's why they're known as numbers instead of having names.

I wouldn't doubt a new group of them could emerge with new numbers... & the numbers also specified rank, where the lower the number, the higher you were on rank, but I doubt they'd confuse things by re-using old numbers. They don't have much choice but to retire the jersey after it's been used... because it would be too confusing to have another set of them with the same numbers.

The ranks are set in stone initially then if lower numbers are higher rank? What if 4th whatevers leapfrogs 1st whatevers?
