Been reading through thsi thread and am thinking of watching Enterprise, the only one I've not watched.

I still enjoy going back and re-watching some of the Dominion War episodes of DS9.

Lita is way underrated btw.

Most of us on here didn't care for ENT when it first aired, but really enjoyed it all these years later. Season 1 starts off a little slow due to the pacing and old ship tech, but they really hit a stride by season 2. Season 1 still has some great episodes, that explain tons of trek lore.

Jordan Hoffman who hosts the official trek podcast, posted at he saw a rumored casting list, and he was shocked at some of the people involved. Won't say more since he now works for CBS....

I always assumed the Countdown clock was referring to Hannibal only.

Thats cool. I actually just read about him in the 50 year mission book. Guess he was an assistant to Nimoy and he really enjoyed dressing him up like that, and using the Vulcan nerve pinch on him repeatedly.

Probably the Enterprise-D. Always gave me the feeling it is where I wanna be.

I love the Constellation class design (Stargazer!).

Also I was fascinated as a kid with the Daedalus class.

I always liked the Enterprise-D, but at the same time, it always seemed a little clunky to me. I liked it regardless, but I didn't know what real love was until I saw the Enterprise-E.

I really wish we got to see more of the E. Its a bad ass ship in the book series.

If you guys like the ships I recommend you check out the Trek Yards You tube channel. They do in-depth about trek ships.

I did like where they were going with ships like the Akira class and USS Titian(Luna class, Rikers new ship)

I think that's the same channel where I watched a video where one of the official ship designers for the series was talking about the Enterprise-E vs Promethues (from Voyager) and he said the E would win. I thought that was badass.

I wish we could get a series with a badass ship like the Enterprise E. It seems like we haven't gotten a truly formidable ship (in a TV series) since TNG. (as the main ship of the show).


What are some good books I can check out where the E is the main ship? (Do these books still include Picard as Captain and the rest of the TNG crew?)

Destiny trilogy is the best starting off point for trek lit. Gestures action on the E, and the new Aventine captained by Dax and titian captained by Riker . After that just the normal tng books.

While the D was meant to be a galaxy Explorer and to be yhr capital ship on long range mission, it had to fight alot, , Men while it could take a beating it just east offensive enough.

The E was built to fight the Borg and dominion, and is built to fight. She's longer then the D but smaller in every other way, except weaponry and shields and engines.

This is correct. I'm actually watching the whole series again for the millionth time because honestly there isn't anything better on TV. DS9 was a fantastic show.
