Social Spying on Trump confirmed: Operation Crossfire Hurricane ***UPDATE: Comey Admits, "I Was Wrong" ***

Disagreeing with summary is not “blowing off” the investigation. The report itself is full of incriminating facts.
Sure there are, and some disciplinary action should be meted out, but it's nothing that invalidates the investigation. Trump's campaign was not illegally spied on.

CBS news ya goofs

“Horowitz's 434-page report is not the last word on the origins of the FBI's investigation. John Durham, the top federal prosecutor in Connecticut, is also conducting his own probe, which is expected to be more wide-ranging. Because it's a criminal investigation, Durham has the authority to compel witness testimony and documents, and impanel a grand jury.”
So what does his report say?

The AG as the video above states otherwise. He also points out explicitly that Horowitz couldn't subpoena people who wouldn't answer his questions, but Durham can. Horowitz states in his own report that most people either "didn't recall" or refused to answer questions. Sorry but some people are going to get dumped on by Durham. The guy is about as anti political and media whore as it gets, and still released a statement contradicting Horowitz the day his report dropped.

And Horowitz testifies in 6 hours. I'm sure he will get questioned on what I just stated.

Yes, that is Mifsud, the man who started the entire Russia investigation according to Meuller. He had to submit testimony to Durham, because he has the power to compel testimony.

That’s how this works.
Is this guy an American citizen? Does Durham have the power to compel testimony from foreigners? He probably had about as much trouble getting an interview with Mifsud as Rudy did getting one with Shokin.

According to Mifsuds own lawyer, he’s western intelligence (see story below). Think about this rationally for a second. This man is known to have lied to Meuller 3x, yet he doesn’t face any charges. Does that sound like a regular Joe to you?

Anyway, as you can see the interview already happened and Mifsud turned over evidence.

....

Mr. Mifsud is a subject on Mr. Durham’s agenda. The Washington Times reported that Mr. Durham, the U.S. attorney for Connecticut, obtained two Mifsud BlackBerry cellphones. Stephan Roh, Mr. Mifsud’s attorney, told The Times he provided the deposition recording to Mr. Durham’s team in midsummer.

Mr. Mifsud’s April 2016 conversation with a Trump associate ignited the FBI’s long Trump-Russia probe. In May 2018, Mr. Mifsud sat in Mr. Roh’s law office in Zurich recounting his time as an academic traveling in Europe, from London to Rome to Paris to Moscow.

Mr. Roh contends that Mr. Mifsud, who has been in hiding for months, was not just a peripatetic professor but also a Western “intelligence operative” who fed what he knew to retired officials.

At a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump called the FBI ‘scum’ amid the release of an IG report on the FBI's investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign. The IG report debunked the president's claim that the investigation into his campaign was launched by biased individuals within the intelligence community looking to undermine his presidency.

So The President of the United States calls FBI 'scum' - guess rich people/politicians get majorly pissed off when law enforcement is targeting them

this kind of language/diss, against his countries own law enforcement agency, from a president of the most advanced country in the world?
Trump set the bar so low, I dread whats coming next from politicians - especially those that look up to Trump..

That's unfair to all the faithful servants in the FBI, and definitely not healthy for us as a country. A nation's belief in its law enforcement institutions is critical to its ability to function. Just look at Iraq or anywhere where they don't enjoy that.

At the same time, anyone who looked into the details of the IG report should be sympathetic to why he is furious with them. There wasn't just a single bad actor. There was multiple teams of them. They were not acting in good faith.

Barr sold his soul to the devil trump. This is quite comical. Trump is hands down the worst president ever.

What page would that be on?

Stephan Roh? You might as well be quoting Michael Avenatti... <puh-lease75>

Care to let us know why the thread title remains, despite the AG flatly stating the Trump campaign was spied on? Not even being an asshole, clearly a mod rushed to change the title originally, then it changed again when Barr disputed the IG report, and then it changed again, with a demonstrably false title?

Did you watch his interview today?

What do you call sending in people wired up to record conversations, and falsifying evidence to obtain access to their electronic records?

The AG calls it spying.

Because the thread title carries the latest major headline, and this was the opinion of the IG. Durham's report will have its day. It's coming.

That's a statement not the report. So let's wait to see who is charged with a crime, what the evidence is, and if anyone is actually convicted. Unfortunately that last point won't be known until after the election. {<shrug}

Please explain what universe the AG flatly stating in an NBC interview, the trump campaign was “clearly spied on” is not major news?

Honestly, since this has now turned into a thread where we’re lumping spying on GP, with fisa abuse (which this thread was never about, this thread was about naming Stephan Halper, and later his female accomplice), it should be turned into a megathread. As it is, so many threads were merged with this, it’s an unfollowable mess.

What makes you think they will push it past the election?

You realize the IG testifying is going to be a very bad day for the fbi, media, and democrats? There will be 1 devastating soundbite to come out that trump will press until the Durham report is released.

“The answers provided for the “mistakes” were unsatisfactory”
