Media Spotted kamaru Usman on Black Panther set

Not that I've noticed really, but I'm sure there are racist idiots who hate it. Good movie.
There is also this culture out there that would call anyone racist for any reason not to like it.

I'm not into any superhero movies, so I wouldn't enjoy it.

If I posted that I found the movie boring, immediately people would go to racism.

I’m not American but I hear the black panther movies are quite divisive in that country. Any truth to this?
I have not heard anything about this being divisive in here (US).
It was actually highly celebrated for many (good) reasons.

But then again, as with everything, there are ALWAYS haters for the most ridiculous reasons.... but they are the minority, and definitely not in any numbers that would make noise.

I guess they must be, considering I had a post removed for a joke that is acceptable in all other areas on this forum. But making the same joke here was grounds for removal lol.

Usman probably hoped they might recast him as Black Panther after the guy died, but then they heard him deliver dialogue like he’s telling ghost stories around a campfire.
Damnit, I heard it.

Not really divisive but a lot of people like myself included just think it's extremely overrated by many for political reasons because it has a social justice element attached to it

blasphemy. Let me guess you’re the only one who didn’t like woman king?

( I’ve seen neither)

Which is sad because this should be a tribute to Chadwick Boseman who was an amazing human being. It should be free if any nonsense or distractions.

I don't watch movies and think superheroe movies are typically garbage. I saw it with a girl I had a crush on and the movie was really solid.

The reason it's divisive is because it has racial messaging in it and the right wing nerd community has a seizure anytime remotley political invades their selfish escapism. It was a good film a great film by the standards of it's shitty genre.

The sequel is going to be more divisive because the main characters actor died and his sister is going to be the lead.

One flaw with Black Panther I is it has the "Law Abdiding citizen" issue where it fails to convince the audience the villian was in the wrong and leaves audiences unsatisfied with the outcome.

I don’t think you have to be right wing to want comic accurate themes and characters. Same can be said about the left anytime the white male is a strong lead character. But as a comic fan I just want accuracy, not my favorite hero’s being used to push an agenda either way.
