Had a Mexican Red knee tarantula as a pet in University.

fun fact: no spiders are poisonous. you dont eat spiders and get poisoned. some spiders are venomous, though.

bite=venom

once you learn the difference you cant help but notice every single time someone mixes those up

I don't mind spiders that much
Our problem here isn't Spiders, but Vinegaroons/thelyphonida (Whip Scorpions as you may know them as), Camel Spiders/Solifugae and Scorpions

Actually i'd rather deal w/ ANY of those over a Sidewinder, W. Diamondback, or Mojave Green. No bueno

I do not miss living in the Mojave desert! Anytime I talk about vinegaroons people look so horrified. Those bastards are aggressive too!
