There's all this talk about the lack of an origin story, how we've see it all, etc. But really, there's more to an origin story than just "that moment," or acquisition of powers. It sounds like all this effort put into Parkers self actualization, "rawness of power," and learning curve is just as much an "origin" story, if not more so, than "oh shit spider bite oh man uncle's dead." We get to see him truly grow and develop, learn, come to terms / grips with himself and what power vs responsibility really means. And done so through the lens of kid, with all the vulnerability that goes along with being a kid, contrasted with his epic abilities. I think that's a slow drip origin if i ever heard one, and pretty fucking awesome.
