Or you could just not care what I think. Surely you don’t expect everyone to like everything you like just the way you liked it. You liked it for your reasons and I didn’t like the ending. Who cares

End of the day I spent two hours and left unhappy and you spent the same two hours and left happy, so you win

We still don’t know what impact her dad leaving his job will have on “the canon” or even if he’s going to survive the movie. A hug is not a resolution, it’s a start but it’s not an ending.

Her dad is not Gwen’s “canon” event. Peter dying was.

That being said, you’ve made some valid concessions about the cliffhanger. You’re right, we all don’t have to share the same opinion on what we wanted out of the film.

For me, as much of a MCU Stan that I am, I would gladly trade it away for this animated universe.

Wasn’t Peter from Miles universe his canon event then too? Why does his dad have to die. Also I thought Gwen went home because her dad was about to be promoted to Captain and that was a problem?

I am going to take drugs and see it again tonight anyway

I think the part of her dad quitting was the way they showed it was not Canon event for her. All the spidermen had a captain die as part of their canon, why that canon would apply to Miles who is not supposed to be Spiderman, I am not sure.

This particular Miles Morales is an anomaly. His world already had a Spiderman who had a canon event. Gwen went home because if she didn’t she’d glitch and die. What I’m figuring is that Miles Morales will be a Nexus type being with him being the only version of Spiderman that doesn’t come from a Peter Parker tree. That’s why I loved the cliffhanger. This will be a totally new development from the comic version of Miles who still has a Peter Parker prime to interact with. This is the first Marvel movie in a while where I have no clue what’s coming.

Fair enough. I saw it a second time on some pretty strong drugs and the movie actually helped me sweat the trip out and focused me, I was worried it would be too much but oddly the way the movie took everyone in calmed me down. I didn’t do enough though I wish I had more

But I still hated the ending. With a passion. Other people in the theatre audibly made loud disapproving sounds at the ending which was validating. My friends at the movie looked at me and I was like that’s it and they thought I was lying

Ah well. It’s a masterpiece otherwise

These disney cucks will defend their stupid movie and get mad if posters dont like this shit fest.

Some of the action were too fast to follow and could have been slowed down a tad to fully appreciate it.

Don't have time now to make a full on review, but this is my only "fault" in the movie. I just couldn't follow all of the action, as it is all over the place. And with the colors, it was just a bit too much.

That and the "we all must suffer" premise. I know it's a Spiderman thing, but... it just seems harsh when said out loud in a movie.

I'm not a movie person and am even less so a superhero movie person but Critics have given it a 96% through over 300 reviews. That's pretty good.

I've seen lots of videos on YT claiming the animation style is revolutionary.

I've only seen the 1st movie, but the main criticism I had was the 'animation style' referring to the poor framerate at 12 frames-per-second.

I'm a gamer and I'm used to 60PFS, but I'm somewhat satisfied at the standard 24FPS for TV/Movies. But 12FPS? It comes off as lazy to me.

If you're animating A, C, E, & G already, it shouldn't be hard to add in B, D, F, & H... if you catch my drift.

Sony, in this case.

Bet the guys at Marvel are cursing their predecessors for selling the rights to Sony.
Cost them billions of dollars in the long-run.

- He carried the Marvel comics. Was the only character as big as Super-Man or Batman. Hulk was famous, but before Peter David, didn't sell much in comics.
