Stepping on other people's foot is a nice trick.
You normally learn it after a few months of training though. It just happens accidentally and then you know it works.
Always wondered why it isn't used much in mma, thought it was being barefoot and sweaty.

Yeah it's really not some super technical genius move, but still rarely seen in MMA for some reason.

Gane's camp is focused on footstamp I saw them drilling them. Ngannou was doing hard foot stomp from the clinch. Gane is way more tecnical so he can use it for striking

Remember, Gane has only been doing MMA for 3 years, and he did Muay Thai before only for 3 years. He is a beginner in all aspect of the game, but a tremendous fast learner. After one year and a half of luta livre he was submitting UFC HWs.

I believe his weakness is his boxing, in the pocket. But he can learn if he spent some times in it. Sky is the limit for this specimen.
