Crime Someone tried to assassinate Donald Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania

This is one of the dumbest and most childish things I have read in while.
Lmao at trying to equate hating Trump with wanting to blow his brains out in front of people.

You cultists are deranged. Half the country hates him but doesn't support the assisnation of political rivals.

Again here is the clear difference a majority of the Trump haters will admit that this was horrible and it has no place in our country. However, when the shoe is in the other foot like the JAN6 tards, a majority of MAGA supports it.

Even before the Republican info came out, most Trump haters condemned this unraveling.

Pence wished Trump well and he's getting tons of tweets from completely unhinged idiots calling him a traitor (crime usually punishable by death the world over) for NOT overthrowing democracy, or blaming him for "putting Trump in that spot".

These are the same type of folks that are scouring the internet to find equivalent shitheads on the other side to try to show that there's some sort of monopoly on craziness that's only one one side of the political spectrum.

It's so ridiculous.

Wow, this guy was a fire chief. What a fucking idiot. LOL. Got a feeling there will be lots of similar examples.

Social media is such a scourge on society sometimes. This guy is absolutely a fucking idiot, but the vehicle that allows him to instantly let the world know it...ugh.

Being able to type and deliver a message like that instantly and have it seen by thousands or more people--with a little time to think of the ramifications maybe this dipshit decides not to hit "send". Maybe thinking "Hey, this is a bad idea. Could affect not just me, but those close to me. Perhaps openly rooting for someone to be killed on live TV by a deranged gunman isn't the best look..."

As a father with a teen that has some social media accessibility, I'm so dialed in and paranoid about it. Kids posting shit that they shouldn't is bad enough, but grown ass people toppling their lives just to get a post out there that they think might be clever or edgy? Makes me lose faith in humanity a bit.

You don't need to "scour the internet" to find unhinged leftists.

I have still yet to find anyone online, in media or otherwise, that can answer how multiple untrained spectators, on the ground level, spotted the shooter 3-4 minutes before he shot and none of the trained snipers, with line of sight and elevated positions, did anything about it.

The spectators on the ground did not have a direct line of communication to the snipers. (They're 150 meters away from the snipers in your clip)

They informed the local police who attempted to climb the roof unaware the guy was armed, then he started firing after he brandished his weapon at them and forced them to retreat back down. In this clip you can't tell the guy is armed either.

When the snipers were aware of the threat on the roof they shot him in the head within 15 seconds.

Hope this helps.

I don't see why anyone needs a conspiracy theory for this.

People really think radical leftists need some kind of government assistance to become dangerous psychopaths that want to kill people?

Have you ever talked to one? They're all absolute lunatics.
you don't think there are psychopaths on both sides of the political spectrum?

Yeah, like I said, it's unnecessary here.

Radical leftist went nuts and tried to shoot the former president.

Just look at the bannings on this forum. Right leaning posters get banned for jokes, left leaning posters get banned for encouraging and endorsing political violence.

Is normal.

To be fair you can chalk most of the bannings up to Americans not being very good at controlling their emotions on a karate forum.

HOW DARE YOU SAY SHIT LIKE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU

Sorry Sherbro, please accept this image as a token of my apology

what is there to argue about related to a failed assassination attempt? other than clearly there was a security breakdown that needs addressing going forward. scary shit.

that, and obviously the political discourse in this country is a problem. and instead of making it better we just continue to make it worse.

People are arguing who was at fault for the breakdown and who caused it.

I do think that requires serious consideration from those agencies involved, but by saying that it doesn't mean it's a conspiracy theory either. I agree with you, I think it could just be that they had a terrible lapse and sucked at their jobs on that day.

People need to be fired, and quickly. Completely unacceptable failure.

Fair point, especially regarding kids/teens... but damn, how dumb are these adult professionals with only like a couple hundred followers, posting their real names, jobs, etc, on an app like twitter. Blows my mind.

Here are some other profiles that Libs of tik-tok and others have been posting. And it isn't even doxxing, cause these idiots provide all their info.

but what is the political angle on "fault"?

I think the obvious difference is the right wing lunatics exist on the fringe of the movement. Left wing lunatics are their main block.
again, this shit isn't helpful.

a lunatic tried to assassinate the president. suggesting that the party you oppose is filled with similar lunatics unique to that side is both a lie, and counter productive. which was the point in my earlier post. most rational people can see this incident as something we can universally agree on and some people have to continue to just demonize the other side.

and yes, the fact that you're canadian isn't lost in this as well.
