Someone gif that Smith-Kazama slam

Hell no. Keep the slams. The UFC and American MMA in general is already neutered to shit. I don't want to see it get even worse.
I’ll take 12-6 Elbows, stomps, and even grabbing the fence over the slams.

We already got the 12-6 anyways

Go put a stopwatch on it. Headbutt with the slam then follow ups? Ban from UFC for life. He's gonna leave someone paralysed with this trash. That's not a martial artist, it's a thug. Pathetic
Agree man

Dick move

I've always hated follow up shots in a very clearly koed fighter, the duse is limp and you are standing over him hitting a lifeless body? Fuck those who do that, that's not a heat of the moment thing bc he would have kept going if the ref didn't stop him.
Its about sending a message to future opponents

We've seen too many people recover after going down, that we can't expect a fighter to recognize when his opponent has had enough. The consequence of not finishing are that your opponent does teh same to you later.

Everyone signs up for fighting until teh ref stops it.

That's like us Gen-X'ers...
No cellphone, no helmets for bikes, we drank from the hose, we left in the morning with no money on weekends and eating until we got back home was on US.

You didn't accept rides from strangers, and you didn't do any "Tide pod" challenges.

The weak ones did not make it to adulthood.

Natural selection.
Walked to school, uphill both ways; you forgot that part.

If you walk it off without follow-ups it looks way cooler and badass
But bro is young so I give him a bit of a pass on the after shots

Pride Never Dies

I was about to say the same thing.

Those follow-up punches were a total scumbag move. Not debatable.

That said, why the fuck would anyone lock up a triangle in this day and age? It’s so goddamned high risk on several fronts, not the least of which is the fact that you’re begging to be spiked on your head.

There are maybe a handful of guys in the UFC who can pull it off.

I sometimes wonder if training BJJ for mixed martial arts does more harm than good. Some of these guys learn really bad habits.
Joshua Van on Jaxxon the podcast told Rampage Jackson that the refs always give caution & warns fighters about that position

Deadlifts and clean and jerks > bjj confirmed

Sounds like some people need to stick to tennis
Thats what I always loved about you, you get that this is supposed to be Ultimate Fighting. Its just lost on way too many people these days, especially the new Covid Lockdown fans.

Saw people criticizing Smith last week for doing that slam + punches. The usual woke vegans. Like you said they can go watch tennis if they don't like violence, this is and I'll say it again Ultimate Fighting Championship. JBG bless
