Futbol Soccer...?

If you can;t see the difference in what Barry Sanders was doing vs soccer and rugby we are done here,

Rugby players do the same thing except they dont have blockers to help them, cant run out of bounds to avoid a tackle, get less space to work and have more defenders in front of them. Rugby players tend to be more competent tacklers too.

As for soccer...

Just stop breh. It aint comparable, skill wise.

Yes the NFL s far more excting than a running wrestling match like rugby and a 2-1 soccer match.

And yet the ONLY people that tend to think this are the people who live in the one country where its popular, the one country that plays it, the country that invented it. Weird coincidence huh?

Little guys kicking a ball around compares to this.....

Sorry but kicking a ball around is a.............YAWN~~~~

So why are soccer fans talking about how boring the game is, well?

Dude, how can any ball game where scores are 3-2 be exciting?

Rugby more exciting than soccer, that's not good.

Kicking a ball into a net simply doesn't work for me, nothing about that excites me at all. If others get off on it, ok.

Give me a few broken tackles a few jukes then outrunning the rest, that is excitement.

This is excitement

To you, to a lot of people not. Again, I refer you to what I said about me trying to get multiple soccer or rugby fans into American football over the years and failing.

I have no idea where you've even seen this. Nonetheless, regardless, they arent saying "its boring and American football is better". We all know EVERY sports fanbase shits on the sport they're a fan of and talk about how things were better in the old days. Its tradition.

For one, lets put this in perspective. 3-2 in a soccer game is the equivalent of seeing 5 touchdowns by the time you're roughly midway through the third quarter of an NFL game.

Rugby more exciting than soccer, that's not good.

Rugby is more exciting than American football too.

Lol! All you have in american football is a bunch os dudes standing around doing nothing for nearly 3 hours. American football is the most boring sport in the world

Remember you are talking to someone who has watched both NFL and college football extensively, and soccer and rugby even longer. Ive seen countless Superbowls, Six Nations, Champions Leagues etc etc to be able to judge this.

You on the other hand havent even watched the sports you shit on perhaps beyond a few Youtube clips. You're way out of your depth in these discussions and it shows, constantly.

How is soccer harder to succeed in, who can't be a little guy and kick a ball around? You don't even use your hands.

Not buying that at all, hell look at how many can play the game.

An NFL QB far FAR harder to succeed at. An NFL Cornerback far harder to succeed at.

You don't have to be big or especially fast or strong, dude........kicking a ball around. Get real~~~

How is not? Lol! Football cleary takes more skill to play than american football, in football you can't use your hands to play with the ball like in american football everything that you do in football with the ball is more difficult than what you do in american football

Pass the ball with the feet is harder than with the hand, run and move with a ball at you feet takes more skill than run and move holding a ball, when someone trhow a ball in your ditection control with the feet or chest takes more skill than catch with the hand score a goal is 10x harder than score a touchdown and etc... Football takes way more skill than american football

Any postion in football is more difficult than the QB lol! The only thing the QB does with the ball is pass the ball with the hand which is obviously easier than pass the ball with the feet, and sometimes run holding the ball which takes very little skill

When you are growing up still trying to find just what you want to be into, you give a lot of things a look, I did try and watch rugby and soccer and baseball. All three bored me to tears, not so with football, now that's excitement.

Dude, soccer is slow and yes kicking a ball into a net maybe 4/5 times a game if that is boring. Rugby is also boring and yes I have seen enought to have a legit opinion. Now you can disagree but do doubt most agree with with you, if you find kicking a ball around excitement, go for it, I need more than that. If you find a sport where a 10.7 sprinter is the big star, go for it.

NFL football is choked full of multi talented athletes on a totally different level than we see in soccer/rugby, there ae no WORLD CLASS sprinters, hurdles, long jumpers, decathletes, shot putters out there. We see smaller, weaker and far slower athletes in socce/rugby, that is a fact.

Not only that but just look at the disparity in the size of the talent pool. Theres maybe a thousand or so QBs in the entire college system, and thats where the NFL gets its talent from.

So a sport with no hitting, throwing, catching, tackling, is more exciting and difficult, really guy? Just kicking a ball around is more difficult than evading 11 wanna be tacklers on a 90 yard kickoff return, really?

So a soccer guy kicks the ball into the net............you really think that is more difficult than a QB evading big 280 poundes to throw a ball 50 yards right into a receivers hands, you can't be serious.

A receivers has to get by two defenders and does, he makes a great catch to score, but just kicking a ball into a net is more difficult, really?

So you really think soccer is more exciting than the NFL?

Soccer is arguable, rugby is not.

If we are talking actually trying to watch a game live? yes, soccer is more exciting. American football is basically unwatchable live unless you watch Redzone, because of all the downtime. Who the fuck wants to invest 3+ hours of their time to watch maybe half an hour worth of plays? not to mention theres about an hour of commercials during NFL broadcasts.

Watching condensed games or just fast forwarding through the bullshit? then yes you can make the case its more entertaining than soccer, although its apples to oranges really. People dont tune in to a soccer game to see the same things they see in an American football game.
