In general, I don't really care, but I don't know why discretion is seen as some kind of bad or shaming thing. Not every natural thing needs to be flaunted.
I don't expect women to have to hide under a blanket, but at least be mindful of where you are. You don't need to hide, but you don't have to draw attention to yourself either.
I saw a news story a few weeks back about a woman breastfeeding her kid IN the pool. Other kids were in the pool, and their parents objected to her doing it there. I don't think that's an unfair objection.
She could have easily sat down on a beach chair and fed her kid.
