So who will Nate get for his last UFC fight

Without any evidence at all, I kind of suspect that Nate and Conor have agreed to hold off their trilogy fight until both are released from the UFC so they can profit more from it, something like that. It would be a shame if we don’t ever get to see the trilogy between them.

Yeah I too have a feeling it will not happen until Conor is 40 or something like that and it will be out of the UFC

Askren, Lawler, Brown, or Cowboy Oliveira are all fun, winnable fights.

Earlier this year I thought Nick vs NBK would be a fun, marketable retirement fight, but no luck.

Avenge his brother by fighting Robbie.

It's a winnable fight for both fighters, and it would be a banger.

Or if they want they can feed him to Khamzat.

Why is Nate leaving? He's not gonna get more money getting his head bashed in elsewhere.

Jake Paul would bash his head in for more money than Nate and Nick have made in their combined careers.

Would help if Nate leaves on a win though.

Unfortunately for Nate, he will likely fight whoever Dana thinks can beat him unless he is willing to sign a new contract.

Dana would definitely allow the Conor fight, it would sell millions of PPVs. Dana is not so spiteful to forgo a huge payday.

UFC wants to give him the fight that he has the best chance of losing. This way, if he goes to another place, his stock is ruined and he can not elevate that rival company. They do not want him just losing, they want him getting crushed. Nate will want someone like Ferg, but UFC will want Khamzat.

Khamzat is the fight UFC wants. If Khamzat keeps winning or inactive, it will be the fight.

Nate don't want that fight tho.
Khazmat doesn't want that fight either. Not nearly big enough a payday to take a fight that has no chance of advancing him towards a title fight and almost no chance of even being a valuable experience.

Why would UFC wanna give him what he wants? And Nate vs Khamzat would draw.
Why would the UFC want to make a money fight between Nate and Conor? Geez, that's a tough question. If Nate wants something that will make the UFC a lot of money, the UFC isn't going to say no just because it's something Nate wants. Maybe the UFC thinks it can squeeze two more money fights out of McGregor and Nate would be too likely to spoil that plan, but if not and if McGregor is receptive, Nate gets that fight if he wants it 100% of the time.

I'm guessing the ufc will give him a dude who'll whip his ass in his last fight of his contract. only because it's more than likely he won't come back to the ufc. Nate will most likely jump on board the freak show boxing fights and cash in.

that's not remotely true, beating Nate would be biggest fight he could possibly have and get him a title shot. He'd love that fight.

Tony, and it will be an epic and intense fight

It's no secret that Nate Diaz only has one fight left on his contract. Dana obviously doesn't want to give him a big fight or a favorable matchup because if he's gone, he'd rather use him as a stepping stone and diminish his market value with a loss, hence the ridiculous chimaev matchup idea. Nate on the contrary want the biggest fight possible against the biggest name possible, to increase his market value.

But realistically who would be an opponent that would satisfiy both sides ? Let's look :

1- Conor McGregor
Would do it for Nate but Dana would never allow such a big fight for Nate's last fight with the company

2- Ben Askren
As ridiculous as it sounds, askren called out Diaz on Twitter these days. Totally rubbish and stupid in my opinion.

3-Luque
Nate seems to want that fight and luque too. I don't know why the UFC doesn't follow with it.

4- Tony Ferguson
Dope fight even at this point but Dana probably wants Tony also as a stepping stone (again) so I doubt it's made.

5- No idea
I have no other idea left. He'll fight in 2022 I thubk, but if you think it'll be someone different please tell.

I actually think Askren makes the sense. It would generate quite a lot of buzz and is probably a fair matchup with both sides have clear paths to victory. Nate would still need to be a main/co-main event and that would be good for one.

Fighting Tony or Connor seems unlikely IMO due to weight classes. There is no way Tony moves up for that fight.

It should be Conor. If Dana had any decency he would make that fight and let Nate ride off into boxing. He's given more than enough to the sport and the UFC.

Of course it's Dana though and he will likely do his best to fuck Nate over before he leaves.
Maybe Nate doesn’t want to wait that long. Maybe Conor doesn’t want that fight. It’s not always about Dana.

We all want to see the trilogy with the GOAT. It would liven up the MMA scene again since it has become a cesspool of tedium. The UFC need Conor.

I agree the timing isn't the best and Nate would like to get it over with as soon as possible.

Dana will definitely be making it as difficult as possible though. Nate and Luque already asked to fight but it was shot down. The same will be true of any fight Nate asks for.

Dana knows he wont sign another contract
So is either Connor to make one last big fight, or feed him to khamzat
Sad, connor aint gonna happen soon cuz of his injury, wish they made nate x tony
