So who will Nate get for his last UFC fight

Let Khamzat smesh him IMO.

If Nate leaves the UFC without the Conor trilogy Dana will be mad.
 
Conor-Nate 3, Conor needs a fight like this to keep selling PPV. Third one should have happened years ago.
 
Dana should back up the brinks truck for Nate to wait until Conor gets back to do their trilogy fight

In the last 5 years Nate has:

1) Convincingly beaten a former champion, then gatekeeper, on a quick slide to irrelevance.
2) Been taken apart and made to look like an amateur by another gatekeeper; and then
3) Been dominated by a contender for 4+ rounds before rocking his opponent, who rode out the round in the face of a an assured decision victory.

Nate's a decent fighter, but he's a step sideways in competition from The Leech, and Khazmat already dominated the Leech as much as it's possible to dominate a fighter of that caliber. Beating Nate would add nothing at all to Khazmat's resume, and Khazmat's not looking at a million dollar payday or anything close to it for a Nate Diaz fight. Beating Nate would be a waste of Khazmat's time, and there's always the possibility of losing that fight. Anyone who thinks Khazmat (or any other fighter) should take a low risk, no reward, high downside fight at this (or any) point in his career isn't really thinking at all.

I think Daner the pink goof sets up Nate with a killer like Khamzat. After Diaz gets smashed, Daner says something like, "Nate was never my friend."
 
Khamzat is a stupid idea. It only serves the purpose of Dana getting to squash Diaz on his last fight. The outcome is known before it starts. It would be boring however long it lasts.

Obviously Nate vs Conor would complete the trilogy, but we know it won't happen soon. Conor is on his last breath hope to survive in LW so a distraction for catch weight would not be good for him right now.

How about Diaz vs Cerrone? Both have fought at WW and LW. Both like to bang.
 
I'll lol if Conor loses to Nate again, but it should be Conor. Win win for Nate. Big fight for the UFC and Conor.
If Conor loses though and Diaz won't resign it puts them in a bad spot. I imagine they won't do that one unless they get him to resign. So it'll probably be him being thrown to the wolves i.e khamzat

They probably dangle a Mcgregor fight for a resign. If he is bent on moving on then probably a Khamzat fight but it would be hilarious if it backfired.

This is essentially what Dana hopes will happen. He doesn't want Nate going out on a high note and will throw him under the bus on the way out, as per usual.

So if Nate wants to wait for Conor he will have to sit out for a year or more. He's best bet is to fight out his contract and go for a Jake Paul boxing fight. You keep saying this, but other than you and Conor, I've seen nobody interested in Dustin vs Conor 4. There's not a big market for it imo.
