The guys on Bellator's very early prelims are often just regional guys who they give a place on the card because they're local to where the show is. 2k is still more than they'd get on a regional show at their level of experience.

Bellator is a private company and has disclosed pay. If you go back like 10-15 years, UFC did the same thing. They'd announce the fighter payouts but they'd always be really low. In reality, they got paid a ton more. It just wasn't disclosed to the public.

It's something to do with taxes and the local commissions. They only report a small number as required and if the fighter wants to disclose how much they really made, it's on them. The last card with Bader/Fedor, the same thing happened and I think it said Bader made 250k. He said he wouldn't even fight if that's all he was getting paid and he made MUCH more.

UFC on the other hand since signing with Endevor usually does disclose the full fighter pay for transparency. They still give backstage bonuses which aren't revealed but their base salary is public information.

ufc does pay more to it fighters hints they pay for the lrelim level fighters is higher. viacom can pay a flat min of like 10k. the few extra bucks im sure the owner of viacom can find that under his bed in there huge house or faney car they drive

only csac released fight purses any more. viacom can do better for the low level fighters but o dont see the media calling out other boxing and mma companies for it jusr base dana white.
