so where the outrage at this fight pay. again

All of it minus the last two guys looks ok imo, its a free card, sure a title was on the line but neither are huge draws honestly and its the B-League.

Having said that, they should up the minimum pay a bit, make it 8k flat or something, even 8k/8k would be much better than 2k, they were the super early fights, there is a point their pay was that low.

I have never noticed the media talk about fighter pay, UFC or otherwise. Just this place.

Ariel does all the time. had francis and nate on there crying about unfair the ufc is and how there need to be change. funny he not asking scott coker.

I'm genuinely not trying to be a dick. But why didn't you make a thread about Ariel then? Unless you feel one single solitary mma journalist encompasses all of the sports' media?

And it seems even in your two examples, it was UFC fighters talking about pay, on Ariel's show, and not even Ariel...

And can't you just tweet Ariel and ask him his thoughts on Bellator pay and why he (apparently?) does not discuss it?

As for why he might not discuss Bellator pay more, and focuses on the UFC's pay? Probably has something to do with the UFC having over 200 times more revenue...

Fucking communists.. (only half joking and i'm from a socialist country)..

Do you really think microsoft paid their guys 10 times what apple paid their guys when microsoft was valued at 10 times more..

Unless you're an actual asset and thus can negotiate you're being paid market value.. and when you can negotiate you're also getting paid market value..

Because the UFC is the defacto big leagues. They probably generate 20x the revenue Bellator does. They can, and should, pay their fighters significantly more than Bellator, relative to their spot on the card.

so many say the ufc needs to do better even here than go how can bellator pay more than the ufc. it not about paying more than the ufc it about the low level guys in mma and boxing making nothing an nobody cares. ariel says it not fair nate diaz doesnt make flody mayweather money.

defending paying 2k isnt right. boxers have died in the ring with no health care.
