International So what really happened at Notre Dame Cathedral? Two other events demand the question

Meanwhile...

Dude in white jacket has some fucked up digits.

Here's how easily 300 year old oak catches fire:

IOW the official story is absolute bullshit and this was a sabotage.

We need a crusade.

Now try that on wood that has been indoors for years and years is dry as a bone and that is a 2x4 or a 2x6. You will get very different results.

In light of yesterday this thread suddenly becomes much more interesting.

I'd be interested to see what caused it but I think the assumption that 1000 year old wood catching a flame is probably the most accurate one to be made, atm

When has Easter worshipers been a fucking term to describe Christians?

It’s always Muslims this and Muslims that, anytime one stubs their toe, but no mention of the Christians killed, on Easter of all days.

I’m not religious, but I find it sickening

I never reported RIP but as a Christian I must say that RIP was a stain on the religion and his kind of Christianity attracts only bottom dwellers who are filled with judgment and arrogance and hatred. He almost never posted a positive thread-- his voice was ALWAYS against something....

RIP usually didn't even post in his own threads at all, he'd just drop some ID politics related bait and people would eat each other's faces about it over the course of 30, 40, 50+ pages.

they would re-group afterwards and try and get him to 'break character', but I think he just rustled them more.

Lol he definitely had a lot of 'trollish' qualities but I tend to think he actually is some white American Baptist dude living in the rural south. What purpose would there be to just make stuff like this up in regular conversation?

[French] Chief architect of Notre Dame de Paris: fire is very probably intentional.
https://invidio.us/watch?v=793sG0y45IU

"The chief architect of Notre Dame: 'We installed new detection system in 2010 and completely rewired the cathedral, so the fire wasn't caused by electrical short-circuit'

French media reports citing an interview with the former French Inspector-General for Historic Monuments Benjamin Mouton, http://www.compagnie-acmh.fr/mouton/ who oversaw the installation of state-of-the-art fire prevention systems in the Notre Dame Cathedral in 2010, and who was responsible for the building from 2000 to 2013, cast doubt on today's leak to the Associated Press https://www.batiactu.com/edito/notre-... that the fire was likely caused by an electrical short-circuit.

Benjamin Mouton was interviewed live on TV on Monday evening as the fire continued to burn the 850-year-old symbol of French culture and history. Here's what he had to say:

"I don't understand this at all. The fire's spread is extremely curious. With really old oak like that, it's super-hard, so you'd need a lot of smaller wood to first get the fire hot enough for the oak beams to burn.

In 2010 we replaced all the electrical wiring, so there's no way this was sparked by a short-circuit. We put new wiring in place according to modern standards. And we went even further; we installed state-of-the-art fire protection and detection systems in the cathedral.

At all times, there are always two men on standby in the Cathedral, day and night, to go investigate anything the moment an alarm goes off, then if necessary to call the fire emergency services.

I am really stunned that this [the fire] has happened. It's incomprehensible."

That's not all. Mouton told French construction magazine BatiActu the following: https://www.batiactu.com/edito/notre-...

"In 40 years of experience, I have never heard of a fire like this.

It would take a really combustible load at the start of such a fire for it to rapidly develop into the disaster we saw. Also, oak is a particularly fire-resistant wood.

The fire detection/protection system installed in the cathedral was of the highest level. It was a very expensive undertaking, but it enabled us to quickly ascertain whether a fire had started somewhere. Additionally, we had many old wooden doors replaced by fire-doors.

We also drastically reduced the number of electrical appliances throughout the building, and completely forbid them in the attic."

Why? The Notre Dame cathedral's roof is hardly indoors.

Did the fire start under the roof or on top of it? One is outdoors and one is indoors and neither compare to a thick log on the ground in the forest that's been rained on season after season.

That is my only point, that the log not burning after a torch is on it for 60 seconds says nothing about a church fire.

They can't have nominal Christians and those inclined toward Christianity waking up. They need Christians to be a bunch of :eek::eek: hating white supremacists.

On top of it, and obviously an accelerant was used to get the fire to spread.

No, your point is to undermine the truth and explain away the obvious. The wood is of the same kind and a blowtorch was used 5 minutes straight without it catching fire.

Very nice. I got the feeling that the whole "he's not really a Christian" was intended to be mean towards him.

And since were here, and being all warm and fuzzy. Merry Christmas to you. :D
