Hmm...
I hope so, but I doubt it. Most Silva fans became Weidman fans after Weidman vs Silva 1 and 2. Ppl love Weidman and I think it would be a hard pill for them to swallow that their new undefeated hero showed he is human, just like we seen Silva is human. But, nothing would make me happier than Vitor beating Weidman and proving everyone wrong.
wacky jesus strength

Until he wins a fight off the sauce, the multiple time offender does not deserve a title fight.
without TRT, not much ..
I don't know how much TRT has helped Vitor. Belfort has always been explosive and testosterone doesn't help you land highlight reel kicks.
That's 10% better of a chance than anyone else at the moment lmao.
I think that if he wins, beating Weidman without TRT he will get a lot of respect on Sherdog.
That's a good point about Belfort's performance against Jones. He almost submitted him. I still have the image of Belfort getting beaten down twice by Randy Couture stuck in my mind but if we look at recent performances Belfort's takedown defense has been really good and his ground game has been good as well. Jones still broke him but not as badly as Couture. I think Middleweight is the ideal weight class for Belfort though and I don't think Weidman will have such an easy time manhandling Vitor. Weidman wasn't able to do much to Machida on the ground and while I think Machida has the better takedown defense I think Belfort's is good enough to keep him out of danger.
The standup exchanges should be interesting. Vitor has developed better timing and patience enabling him to blitz at just the right moment. He can also do this as early in the fight as possible making him dangerous from the opening bell. If he can catch Weidman early he should be able to put him away. If Machida was aggressive from the beginning I think he might have beaten Weidman but that's just not his style. He's a counter striker and needs to feel his opponent out before working his striking game. Belfort has the gift of being able to get a fighter's timing down early and capitalize. I hope everything works out with Vitor and the athletic commission so we can see a great fight.
