What do you feel Vitor threatens Weidman with that makes him a serious contender for the title?

I think that Vitor's aggression, speed, power and timing are a real threat to Weidman not to mention his newly applied killer kicks. I don't know how much TRT has helped Vitor. Belfort has always been explosive and testosterone doesn't help you land highlight reel kicks. On the other hand Belfort has been broken in fights before, most recently by Jon Jones. He looked like such a different fighter against Bisping, Rockhold and Henderson. If that Belfort shows up I think he can win.

5 minutes of Hell...people who are expecting Vitor to fall of a cliff without TRT are going to be in for a shock

without TRT, not much ..

Unfortunately this.

His speed/power combination would have been his biggest asset but I think we will get that 1 round Vitor again ... the one that will gass badly after the first round and fade as bad as chubby WW BJ Penn.

The ability to finish quickly if he hurts Weidman.

I think one of the things we saw last night though is that Weidman's striking D is pretty solid when he is fresh.

Unlike Machida, Vitor will take risks and put himself in harms way just to hit Weidman.

I still don't think he'll win though, purely because he tends to just give up after the first few rounds.

and Weidman will make him pay every time. After Vitor misses with his first 2 or 3 explosions and sees Weidman still standing right there walking him down, he will wilt and get subbed. in under 3 rounds with out a doubt. Machida was a much tougher test

Vitor is old and off the juice now. I love the guy, but he will become a bloody mess.

Knockout power, quickness and killer instinct. He also has quality BJJ, but the likelihood of him submitting Weidman is pretty small, I'd say. Vitor has a definite chance to KO Weidman early.

Not scared to trade in the pocket like Machida was rounds 1-3.

Vitor brings spinning shit.

Nobody can handle the Brazilian spinning shit of doom

It wasn't trading in the pocket that Lyoto had to be mindful of--it was early TDs and everything bad that would do for his game.

If Chris wasn't so good at them, Lyoto would have traded all day, because he's the far better striker, whether he's on the attack or countering.
