Literally have never used Facebook, snapchat, Instagram, or any other social media platform besides YouTube and like 4 tweets i made to Ariel Helwani years ago .

I feel like all of these "platforms" as a whole can go fuck themselves. They are trendy for a bit, you feel like you're in with the "cool crowd" for a while and then it dies. Meanwhile all of them fuck with your head and give you more anxiety and discontent.

For the vast majority they dont add any real value and seem to cause more harm than good.

Some people can make a lot of money off it, or get laid etc. but thats about it.

I will say though that LinkedIn is useful for finding jobs and recruiters finding you. I got my current job through it and I'm currently interviewing for a new job because of it.

You just gotta stay away from the articles and comments. Worse than any other social media site at this point.

Medical cannabis, background in physio. I get 15/hr offers for assistant management. When i tell them my salary and benefits that come with less responsibility than they are asking of me it tends to end the interview.

I know companies always want most productivity for least cost but you still have to offer something worth an employees time. It tends to increase productivity.

I stopped using Twitter because there was way too much hate on it, mostly through second hand retreats and likes from people on my list.

I uninstalled it, thinking I would reinstall it after a break for a week or so. Didn't reinstall it. Don't miss it. Was a lesson for me regarding social media.

I don't really get the disdain for Facebook, it's handy to stay in touch with people and get info for local events etc. I'm not on there much now because local events don't happen anymore, and we can't arrange get togethers with our friends now but it's a handy tool.

Facebook I have friends and family on, it would be a pain in the ass having to phone or text them individually, it’s the easiest way of staying in touch.
