So I started collecting vinyl again

Nice purchase, buddy. Lots of cool songs. Here's a couple of my recent purchases.

I don't even know what songs are on those but the covers alone are winning

Picked up a 1968 Monarch pressing of Waiting for the Sun. The copy I have still has that orange sticker they put on from the factory too.

I also picked up a 73 US pressing of Dark Side of the Moon since it had both original posters and stickers in it.
I like and have them both. Have some other Floyds and Doors too. Should do some picture´s ;)

Interestingly enough the only soundtrack I have is the Back to the Future one. I am going to buy The Crow though. Probably my GOAT soundtrack. I came across one at Amoeba Records in Hollywood a while back, but it was the black and white colored disc limited edition version and they wanted $100 for it.. so I passed. I'm all about the rare and limited versions, but I'd rather just spend $40 on the regular pressing.
The Crow Soundtrack (the first from Crow 1) is huge! But have it only on CD. Soundtrack LP´s are hard to find, especially in my country (Germany).

I'd like to pick up a 2001 Strokes - Is this It with censored (in the US) cover with chick bending over. The UK pressings go for $100+ and the EU pressings for $60+. I'd probably just get the EU pressing since either way it's a foreign pressing.

I already have a 2023 splatter vinyl pressing with the blue US cover, but I want a first pressing with the intended cover.

I love the movie covers too as well as posters, so here are a just a few more of my collection. Love the Hurcules LP as it comes with a poster. I also bought the DC Cab daybill poster & have about 6 or 7 lobby cards from the movie. Could sell as a set?

Have the Beastmaster LP & think I bought the daybill poster for that? Hard to remember all of the stuff I've collected & put away:-) Have to go through it all sometime.

The other night I was going to post my Turbo Kid soundtrack up for sale. I bought it, never listened to it, it’s been awhile sitting on my shelf. Because I never took it out of the sleeve and didn’t think much of it, I thought I had a standard issue black vinyl.

Well, when I took it out to photograph it I realized it’s the glow in the dark version. Which sells for $150 here, and now I’ll continue to hoard it lmao. I don’t spend big dollars on vinyl so it’s kinda cool to have something like that in my collection idk. I paid $40 for it.

Random Fact: you can melt them down and drink them for their alcohol content. Don't ask me how I know that

I bought a LP-washing-machine to clean all my old vinyls. Could take a while for 250 old vinyls but it´s worth to clean up the sound too with it.
I have a buddy that tries all kinds of alchemist shit on old, damaged records he picks up. Sometimes he brings great recordings back to life!

Just bought Bangles Greatest Hits....

Of course being pressed in 1990, it only was made overseas. They've never repressed it nor is there another Greatest Hits of theirs pressed on vinyl. So I had to buy a European pressing from a seller in Germany; that should show up in about a week and half.

Going to hit up a few record stores in Copenhagen today. Hopefully I have some good shit to report back lol

I still have a crush on Susanna Hoffs, lol. She's 66 but still looks fine. This pic is from last week when she played Carnegie Hall

Hope you find lots of good stuff on vacation

Always loved Susana Hoffs.

And so far Copenhagen has delivered.

Found a 92 EU pressing of Pearl Jam Ten and a 93 EU pressing of Vs.

I also stumbled upon a 1969 UK pressing of led Zeppelin I with the plum and red label. About to hit up four more stores in Stockholm.

Its the only way apart from Bandcamp that I buy music these days

I found out about Bandcamp from here on Sherdog and now I've gone down the vaporwave and future funk rabbit holes.

I love hitting up the local thrift/antique stores. Lots of vinyl at great prices!

Ordered Hatebreed's "Perseverance" today! First time it's ever been pressed. The album was a big deal to me when it came out... And bought a half dozen or more records in the last two months, Loosey, Chat Pile, The Jack Wilkins Quartet, +...

Also going to buy new speakers when I get home on vacation in a week. My current setup is self power Mackie 5" monitors that I half blew but I love, so I'm going to get the same Mackies but the current 8" versions.

It feels insensitive that a few of us have given thumbs up to your post about Hatebreed.
