Then you're pretty wrong. Look up salvage magnets which is what these are. Very few people use electromagnets for magnet fishing unless they are professional salvagers or really deep in the hobby.

I was talking about your average hillbilly who's bought a 700kg salvage magnet online and gotten it stuck on something. Not a professional who can just switch his magnet off because he's got an electromagnet.
