Look man at the end of the day the skillset between Ngannu and Lewis isn't far apart. When Stipe beat Francis, people wanted to crown him HW goat. DC beats Lewis in a title fight and all of the sudden people are in their feelings.

To me the difference is that with Ngannou you might be something crazy happening. But everyone in the entire mma world knew - or should have know - that DC was going to get Lewis down, sink hooks, and choke him.

It was slightly less surprising than Couture v Toney.

Stipe wrecking Ngannou was impressive as hell. But because of the style v style clash, DC wrecking Lewis was impressive as hell and utterly unsurprising.

Two(3?) things to get straight:

First, I just fuckin' DC's guts, plain & simple, just don't stand him, ok?
I don't expect really people to understand my view as throughout as I do, just to be honest. Hated him before he started with this Ronda Rousey-ish ego.

But then there's the second part: We all know DC is trying to change/fake his game only to elude the fighter to do something that makes easier for him to take down and then 3 (now 5) more rounds of LNP. We all know that, but sometimes, specially now at HW, a lonestar punch connects and the adversary falls out stunned to the mat or a KO. But you know he's never looking for that, which is why I see in him a fight like GSP and Phil Davis, they're all about the same.

It's not about just bleed, I like just bleed fighters, but the best fighters are really guys like Jacare and Weidman, or Pettis (back when he was the king) vs. Rafael dos Anjos, that is true mixed martial arts for me.
