So how does everybody think DC looked this time around at HW?

After his fight against Stipe many said that DC looks much better, harder hitting, better cardio, etc. at HW without the huge cut.

So how do you feel he looked against Lewis? The fight went as many expected with a dominant performance, though I don't feel like DC looked necessarily so good, moreso that Lewis looked so clueless and bad. DC still had to exploit that of course, but I think the level of opponent definitely benefited him here. DC definitely seemed way slower than he looked against Volkan earlier this year, that's for sure, and that was always his biggest advantage at HW.

Thoughts on DC's attributes as a HW?

It was a squash match, simple as that

How did Mickey Gall look against CM punk?

Well, if he wants to beat Jones at HW he has got to lose all that newly gained fat. He can get away with it against Lewis but there is really no need for him to be that big.

Not a good measuring stick for the Lewis fight. He kept it pretty basic and did what he needed without taking big risks. He's a great fighter no matter if he's at LW or HW. He's not an easy guy to beat at all.

I mean, I didn’t see much difference

I thought he looked much slower and a bit sloppier at HW. And Stipe also seemed to be stronger than him.

it wasn't a squash match. lewis legitimately earned his ranking and was the highest ranked hw not named guy just knocked out.

he played it exactly how he should of and looked great, safe but dominant.

looked like he was wrestling with a child.

The fight was ONLY made because it was an easy fight, which was the ONLY way to get dc to accept it.

You can justify it in your head, but that's the real reason

I mean if you want to believe the UFC that's on you. But Blaydes and Stipe had better recent wins and performances. Not even close.

He looks too good for a fat 40 year old with low testosterone. Suspiciously good.

stipe's last fight he got knocked out and blaydes is right below lewis with a fight in a couple weeks.

believe the ufc about what?

He looked full and well rounded, heavyweight championship caliber physique.

That Derrick actually deserved this fight more than stipe or Blaydes

Suspend your disbelief I suppose

You really are a salty hater these days. If this was an easy match then what would you call Stipe's title fight against Francis? At least DC finished Lewis and didn't gas out by the second round hanging on for dear life.

again, you're simply grasping. lewis was legitimately ranked and available. you can debate who deserved it the MOST but you can't say lewis was completely undeserving. yes there are many reasons it happened (dc accepting the fight a big one) but you can't say there's no logical rationale for lewis.

He is likely to fight Brock not Jones. Extra weight would help him there.

Fedor beats Brett Rogers, a guy with one legit victory his entire career and it's a great victory.

DC beats a guy with 10 wins, most kos, over notable or top 10 fighters and it's a squash match
