Man trust me, I want DC to win but he always has problems w/ long people. Jon outlasted him and KO'd him, the gus fight was close I don't remember how i scored it round by round but if it was pride judging i would've scored it a draw. Roy is about the same size as dc same reach. If him and stipe were the same size i'd say DC 100% but Stipe is heavy, long, and dc will face strength that he hasn't faced before most likely. just my opinion. im not counting dc out.

I guess I was eluding to the fact Cormier fought at HW for a long time and a lot of people forget that. In addition, Silva, Mir and Barnett are all big ass dudes, over 6'3" in height and probably all outweighed Cormier by 20-30 pounds.

He didn't just beat Barnett. He dumped him on his fucking head from up above the top of the cage. He also fucked TRT Mir up. Beat up Roy Nelson, who people can talk shit on by is pretty fucking durable, especially back then.

Me thinks people are spinning shit to fit their narrative. It's not even just who he beat, but how he beat them that is important. He made the heavyweight division look like Jones made 205 look for the last 10 years. And when DC was Strikeforce champ, keep in mind that is where all the best heavyweights in the world actually were. Not in the UFC.
