So do some people still think Meisha is the favorite over Cyborg?

This is factually untrue in terms of number of fights and ring time, Miesha also has fought more quality opponens, Cyborg has not been training much longer and Miesha has a base in a martial art ie. wrestling which Cyborg doesn't.
I'll concede that Meisha has had more fights. Meisha does have a base in wrestling, which is great but I'd favor the woman who honed her MMA skills at Chute Box vs trained killers. Cyborg also has wins in Muay Thai, as well as jiu jitsu tournament and submission wrestling victories.

Miesha also has won a grappling tournament and placed in another, she's also a state high school wrestling champ although victories in a striking sport is something Cyborg has over her. Is Xtreme Couture not a legit camp compared to Chute Boxe?

I wouldn't say either is significantly more 'experienced', at the least Miesha is more experienced in actual MMA fights against top fighters.

Meisha's got slightly more experience in MMA fights, but I don't think her wrestling base holds a candle to the training Cyborg got from Chute Box, her jui-jitsu tounament victories, amateur wrestling victories, or Muay Thai.

This fight is closer than what many think, but Cyborg is dangerous in all facets of MMA whereas Meisha is more linear.

I guess I edited it in too late, is Xtreme Couture not a legit camp compared to Chute Boxe?

Also why would Cyborg's amateur wrestling victories in what I assume to be one-offs hold greater weight than a state wrestling championship?

I was specifically referring to your statement that Miesha's wrestling base doesn't hold a candle to Cyborg's victories in BJJ and MT OR her amateur wrestling victories.

To sum it up Cyborg has more activities on the side, Miesha is more focused in MMA.

I think out of the top 5 wbw i think that Tate has the best chance of beating Cyborg imo. Right now I'm 50/50 with this fight. On one hand cyborg is a tough matchup for Tate(big strong aggressive athletic finishers) who may not give tate enough room to adjust and may just shut down everything tate wants to do with her freakish strength. 2 years ago I've picked cyborg to beat Tate. But... She's never faced an opponent like Tate adaptive, good fight iq, durable, great cardio, more seasoned, more battle-tested could make this a rough fight for cyborg too. I think cyborg not being tested through out her career could hurt her in the end. How is she gonna deal with someone she can't just put away in the first round? How good is her cardio truly? How about when she's put in a rough situation or when she's behind in a fight? I don't think she's gonna just clean out the top5 that easily she's gonna have to work for it.

Not a favorite. But I think she'd do better than ronda.

Please...with this striker fetish...it's MMA.
Cybore is primarily a striker, Holm can beat her at her own game.......

Cybore isn't known for her takedowns, but would carry a solid advantage in the ground fighting department. How is she going to get it there though?

You should watch some of her fights. Check the second fight with Coenen.

Cyborg is overrated as fuck.. seriously

Says the guy with the Fedor avatar. Ohhhhhhhhh the irony!

Justino is the best female MMA fighter on this planet. Period. Deal with it.

Name 3-4 top athletes she's beat in MMA.

You can't, because she's been fed cans (smaller cans) her entire career. Like I said in my previous post in this thread, she even missed weight by like 5 pounds when fighting a girl that was already going up in weight to fight her.

She juiced to the tits, has beat nothing but cans (other than Coenen and Carano) and has always been the much bigger girl in the octagon, yet some people actually get honeydicked into thinking she's a beast.

She's the actual definition of a can crusher. Pretty coward too if you ask me. Whatever happened to that "she'd die to make 135"? She tried making 140 and weighed in at 139 in the first try. How do people still think making 135 is an impossibility for her? She doesn't want to fight 135ers in their own weight, she wants to be the bigger girl once again even though she's completely irrelevant. Nobody knows who she is other than hardcore fans. Sugar coat it all you want, nobody is going to buy a PPV headed by Cyborg UNLESS it's against Miesha, Ronda or Holly. She talked big about going back to the super prestigious Invicta 145 divison AKA a wasteland in terms of talent and maybe fighting one of the UFC's 135ers at catchweight.

If that's not a sign that she always wants to have the advantage and doesn't really want to go down to 135 then I don't know what is.

Tate is a far better wrestler than Coenen. Holm isn't but again, Holm is probably the most decorated combat sports athlete the USA has ever produced regardless of gender.

Plus a UFC title.....Think about it.

Wouldn't be the favorite but I still see Tate surviving the first round onslaught. Cyborg slowly tiring due to her PED muscles and the weight cut. Tate landing the takedown on a tired cyborg and getting the sub.

Boxe....not MMA. The title doesn't really give a clear picture of her MMA career, which is far from being impressive.

You're not getting my point at all. Cyborg is an inferior striker to Holm and not as good at takedowns as Tate is. Meaning, she might not have the takedown prowess to get Holm where she needs the fight to go. AWAY FROM THE STRIKING. It's easier for Holm to keep the fight on the feet, then it is for Cyborg to get it to the ground. Stylistically bad match up for Cyborg.

But Holm during her boxing career has had issues with big powerful power punchers. idk if cyborg can do anything similar that raquel pennington did she might have a chance. They're both tough matchups for each other in diff ways.

I love how people are questioning Cyborg's cardio. She's proven she can keep that berserker pace up well into the 4th round. At 135, if she could make the weight, that might affect her, but I still see her as being a cardio monster on top of all her other weapons.
In her Strikeforce Coenen fight she held a relentless pace until the fight ended if iirc. The commentators at 198 noted her cardio training is ridiculous

I am not sure what this thread is about but I want to see dat Mieshas ass.

Tate would just collapse to the floor in 50 seconds after one of Cyborgs sloppy barrages.
