The Trump administration is also the group that "installed" him on the White House Coronavirus Task Force.

But it has been investigated. No one could determine it was a lab created virus, and scientists in fact found signs of it being naturally occurring.
For the record, I don’t have any skin in the game either way—I’d like to know the origin, wherever the data leads. There is currently no proof it came from a lab, and a lot of evidence to the contrary. Both ideas are plausible. Neither are proven.
