i go there for their "Hulk" mass smoothie which is pretty good but costs $8. Does anyone have any decent tasting receipies for mass smoothies?

Shit! $8 for a damn smoothie?

Go to Sam's or your local bulk retailer, pick up a jug of protein for $15, and go nuts. To hell with that mainstream smoothie crap.

thanks, yeah i think i'm making that company rich going there every day

LOL...on some days it's worth the $8 to go somewhere and have someone make it for you instead of having to run around and find the ingredients and make it yourself.

Peanut butter. Damn I love that stuff.
And milk, and a few strawberries, and a scoop of protien power.

Cant go wrong.

In mine in the past, I have put yogurt, peanut butter, milk, banana and chocolate. I usually make a lot though, enough to completely fillt he blender (3 bananas are usualy used, and lots of yogurt, huge scoops of penaut butter).

I never got around to usiing that protein powder stuff. How does it taste? I love my yogurt smoothies and would hate if the protein powder made them taste nasty.

the ones i make now:
1 banana
1/4 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop protein
1/2 cup oats
2 tbsp flax oil
1/2 tbsp honey
add milk to desired consistancy

this makes 4-5 cups of shake. plus it tastes pretty damn good.

how do the oats make it taste.

Do you guys add peanut butter to shakes (that was the hint I was getting).
What does that taste like, does it mix well?

to get the positive effects of bananas and strawberries, they should be eaten without any other foods. I saw this in a few places, is it true? I am not sure.

well, the oats dont really add or detract from the taste. but they make it a lot thicker. nice easy way to get a good amount of carbs.

I used to make the exact shake all the time. great way of getting hyoooge. If I didn't have flax, i used cod liver oil and/or cold pressed extra virgin olive oil instead. didn't take away (or add) to the taste one bit.

How did they explain this phenonemon? I couldn't even begin to bullshit an explanation for this.

If you can figure out a way to take out most of the carbs, then add MCT oil, you'd have a real food shake simulating Muscle Milk.

How would that work, I wonder? I never tried it. You couldn't be a sissy about salmonella:

1 cup skim milk
2-4 egg whites, raw
25g Whey Protein, Flavored
2 Tbl MCT Oil

Damn. That's tough.

Oh yeah, this is in the wrong forum.

I don't want to quibble over the small things, but technically, and actually any other way you slice the beef, it's murder my friend.

Yeah, I do. It goes really well with banana. And I have not clue why you would have to eat bananas alone, I have never ehard of that and cannot imagine a reason why it might be true. The peanut butter mixes really well in a good blender.

Here is a tip about bananas though, don't use really old ones because they foam up with you blend them and fill the blender with foam and it is way harder to drink and sometimes makes a mess. When I did ahve to use older bananas I fille dht eblender all the way to the very top and sealed it with plastic wrap. It kept the banana from foaming and expanding (with no where to go).

Shit, this is making me hungry...im gonna go home, dump the wife's margarita out of the blender, and whip up some naner, PB and protein shakes.
