Sleep - mouth or nose breathing?

Before I had wondered why calling dudes a mouth breather is a bad thing.

After hearing Huberman a couple years ago, I understand why now.
Got so paranoid/self concious, I even attempted to solely through my nose, while running. lol, no.
I realized, since I rarely breathe through mouth, other than a sigh/or stress breath; was just being dumb.

Is Your Mouth Breathing Causing Your Jaw to Overwork? Dr. Bob Perkins https://bobperkinsdds.com › blog › is-your-mouth-breat...
Changes in Facial StructureOver time, chronic mouth breathing can actually change the shape of your face. Mouth breathers tend to develop longer, narrower faces with a more recessed jawline. This occurs because the lack of tongue support and improper jaw alignment affect facial proportions.

Did not know it was that bad.

Get one of those cpap/sleep apnea masks, imo, i guess.
I dunno; just a blanket statement.
Derek from MPMD wears one. He had to deal from something similar IIRC.
I have seen ppl like this but they are breathing through their mouths during the day as well. I have a second nephew who sits there watching tv with his mouth open and I can already see the effects of that. He went from this adorable baby to this long faced looking kid lol kindve mean I know

Bro, I did not know something like this was even available? Adjustable firmness levels? That is next level! I’m definitel

I did not even know something like this exists! Adjustable firmness levels??! That’s wild I would put firm when laying ob my back and then softer when going on my side. We are definitely going to look at this.

We are inbetween mattresses right now due to their warranties. We tried the best Casper they had but it was way too soft/plush but the experience was unreal. Casper wave snow. Now we are on the best Douglas mattress and it’s more than half cheaper, it’s on the medium firmer side but it’s cooling effects are really good.

Thank you
We don't have the full shebang with all the cooling etc but yeah you can adjust back, knee, elevate your feet etc.

I'll spring for the cooling one at some point but I got our current bed in Europe and it's bigger than a California King so I'm loathe to get rid of it.

If one of you are a light sleeper it's handy to have two separate mattresses as well. You're still in bed with your wife but you're not getting the tossing and turning backlash.

The new foam ones have very quiet movement, like if I’m moving it doesn’t move the entire mattress so the wifey doesn’t get woken up.

I would say I’m impressed by the cooling, but its just a cool add on for foam.. as non-foam never gets warm so I think it should be a requirement for foam mattresses.
