Skill and technique wise

The sample size is too small to put Weili in the top 5 IMO. She's very skilled and has great technique. I'd put her at #6.

She has more pro fights than Joanna or Rose. Not to mention that she actually beat Joanna. You’re not making any sense.

1) Valentina. I don't think I need to explain why.

2) Amanda Nunes. Lots of folks will say Rose or Weili but I'd put Amanda above them for the following reasons; better reads, setups, transitions between striking & grappling, and fight IQ.

After that, it gets messy since there aren't any other women in the UFC who have a good all-round system and can fight to a game plan. Rose is very good if you consent to an outside striking match or get into wild ground scrambles with her, but if you don't she struggles a lot and can't impose her game and turn the fight around. Weili has fast powerful striking but her setups aren't on the same level as Joanna, Nunes, or either Shevchenko sister, nor does she have a good takedown and ground control game. Joanna, Antonina, and de Randamie all have top level striking but Antonina is the only one with a ground game and it's not as good as her sister's. Suarez is a top wrestler & grappler but her striking is amateur at best.

Once you get past the top 2 you're into fighters with large gaps in their skill sets. You can rank them on striking or grappling alone and that's about as far as it goes. And even then you have fighters like Rose or Zhang to a lesser extent who suck in the clinch and can't be said to have a complete standup game, even though striking is regarded as their specialty.

More pro fights against what type of competition though??? I bet Joanna and Rose have fought way more legit competitions than she has. She has FIVE fights in the UFC. Who else has she fought? Please enlighten me. Plus her beating Joanna in a razor close fight still doesn't mean that she's more SKILLED and TECHNICAL. She def has WAY more power though which is what really won the fight for her. I'm talking skills and technique here, not who's necessarily the better overall fighter.

not enough data yet to even compile a list, most women fighters have one good skill set and background, very few real well rounded ones, they are Rose and Shev, Amanda is the best female fighter but that dont make her the most well rounded. Point being is the whole mma sport is very young, you didnt start seeing the males really start having a mixed game until about 2010, nobody trained their whole life for mma, they either did wrestled, boxed, kickboxed, etc until they were at the top of that sport, realized they had potential and switched over. Women typically dont grow up with fighting aspirations, a few will wrestle, a couple will do Judo and some Mauy Thai or kickbox. In 10 years, yes they will all be well rounded, but its just too young right now

I somewhat agree. Kinda like we couldn't really call Ronda the GOAT while she was beating on "soccer moms". But based on the data we have right now though, I feel confident about my list.
