Size Matter ?!?

Not when there's a big gab in the skills level. Mayweather would toy with Francis as if Ngannou would be a baby. That being said he wouldnt be able to hurt Ngannou even after Ngannou would be gassed after hitting air stumbling on himself.
No he wouldn't, he couldn't even Toy with Logan Paul.

All kidding aside it is pretty amazing to see how easily an above average sized weekend warrior could beat even the most elite smaller boxers in a street fight. Logan ate his punches like candy, and if he were allowed to grapple would finish Mayweather in minutes.

Bob Sapp exposed combat sports

You talking a BOXING match, MMA, or an actual fight with no rules?

Big difference.

Bob Sapp exposed combat sports

To some extent yeah, he showed that there is a threshold where size and strength overwhelm all.

If you see him against a good size, very strong wrestler like Fujita, Sapp looked helpless in there. But a beanpole like Nog or Hoost were nullified by him.

And Valuev was like a boxing version of Sapp.

Floyd finished off Conor, but he couldn't finish off a bigger guy.

that's why dwarves can't be considered the best Fighters or GOAT, they don't have the strength of the bigger guys.

Roberto Duran proved that skill takes a guy to some extent, but it's not enough to overcome the difference in size and weight.

1. Conor was tkod in the TENTH that exhibition was EIGHT rounds.
2. Floyd is 4 years older and it's 4 years of retirement.
3. It's an exhibition so Floyd didn't care as much.

Age had a lot more to do with that fight than size did. If Floyd was just a few years younger he would have stopped Logan. I was impressed he lasted till the end, but the guy was dead tired after the third round.

Size obviously plays a role in fights though. A good large fighter will almost always beat a great small fighter, but a good small fighter will almost always beat a unskilled or bad fighter.

that's why DIVISIONS exist. Logan is worse than an amateur but he was taller and bigger than floyd; probably the biggest guy Floyd has ever faced. there was times when Floyd couldn't even get the jab due to the height.

yeah. Got paid for some light sparring.
He was hitting that punching bag harder than Logan with them body shots, I don't think Logan could handle one of those nasty rips. Would of had him take a knee for sure.

Floyd could have KOed him if he REALLY wanted to. he just didnt have any reason to when he could play it safer and not break his hands
The greatest boxer ever had to play it safe vs Logan Paul 0-1. Imagine if Logan actually took it seriously.

Size matters, men the size of Mayweather were not bred for war back in the day, men the size of Logan and above were. Actual warrior genetics is someone that is at least 6 ft and preferably 200lbs. Not some little 5'5" manlet weighing 155lbs, that's the genetics of a peasant farmer and the size and weight of a woman, not a warrior.
Ok casual.

I know you have never trained a day in your life if you truly believe Floyd coildnt KO him if he went balls out for it. Hes not going to break his hand or take shots he doesnt have to for an exhibit "fight"

I do train and I would whoop the shit out of Floyd in the ring and on the streets. Floyd is not built for war, you throw him in there with someone over 200lbs and over 6 ft, preferably even 6'2 he's going down if they actually train. Remember that Logan is actually terrible at boxing and got beat by another Youtuber. He doesn't take training seriously either. Stop being delusional, the smaller fighters might be entertaining, but they do not have warrior genetics, they got peasant farmer genetics and started combat sports because they got bullied or did not get their father's attention.

floyd didnt even train, 44 years old, and severely outweighted.

it was the definition of "money fight"

Floyd is a great boxer but in the last 10 yrs, he only has 1 finish aside from Conor (more from gassing than damage lol). Floyd can't even finish guys his own size, not a surprise he didnt TKO Paul

My girlfriend says size doesn't matter, but I get the feeling she's just trying not to hurt my feelings.

Maybe eventually, he was being dominated, but he wasn't in any real imminent danger at that time. If a ref stopped a real bout under those circumstances it would be insanely controversial. But no one cared because everyone knew it wasn't a real bout.
This is stupid.. This is boxing. No ref in boxing is going to let you repeatedly get hit without responding and just let you tough it out.

Boxing has had many, many more deaths than MMA thus refs have adapted and look proactively for reasons to stop a fight. MMA on the other hand let's fighters get bludgeoned unnecessarily giving every fighter ever opportunity to fight back. Just wait until the UFC shows a live death. Then you'll much much more refs looking out for fighter's safety.
