Ngannou would only have to catch Floyd once. What's more, he could probably do serious damage even if his shots are blocked / glancing. Yes he'd probably have like 10% strike accuracy but I'd bet a ton of money on Ngannou in that matchup—though it would never happen, because Floyd would never take it, because he'd understand the danger involved.

It's much easier to defend against strikes in a boxing ring with ropes compared to mma. Ngannou cannot pin Mayweather against the cage. The boxing ropes help Mayweather because they still allow movement.
