i thought i was, but according to their new size chart i'd be closer to an a2L now.

I am still wearing A1's straight out of the bag like a glove. cold wash, and cold line dry (not in sun, and if too hot outside I will hang in bathroom). I could probably shrink an A2 to perfection, but I am fine with A1's

I am 5'8", was competing at feather, but now light. I walk around 175lbs and still love the feel of an A1.

After cold wash/hang dry of the Comp 2014 in size A2L, it fits pretty well on me. I'm 6'1.5" and 165 pounds. I'm really glad they added this size. Sometimes I wonder if it was my relentless lobbying which caused them to include this size lol.

Same here although some have been shorter in the jacket sleeves than others I've had (navy skies)

Hi, were the sleeves really long when you first got them? I just got one in a2l and the wingspan measures 73 inches. I'm 6 feet 190 pounds. Do you think I should size down to a2? Or do u think I can shrink it down? Thanks.

The gi shrunk overall after I got it. I only hang dry and cold wash my gis, so this is just normal shrinkage. This includes the sleeves and the width, although not the length so much. I don't know what your wingspan is, but I don't know that A2L will fit you well. From what I've gathered, you should probably go with an A2 as the A2L will be long in many proportions for you. But, honestly, you should probably just give shoyoroll a ring and ask them directly. Every batch is different and they know best.
