I am 5'8", 150 (currently for comp) but walk at 160lbs... is the A2 gonna be too big?

Might be a little late with this answer, but im 5 9ish and 177lbs and the A2 fits me perfectly but I did not shrink it at all. Cold wash and hang dry. If I was 10lbs bigger I don think it would be IBJJF legal on me. So I think an A2 would fit you great as well, might have to shrink it a tad is all.

As of now it looks like A2s are sold out. But you can check NHBgear, they may have them for preorder but I am not sure.

Depends on if you are willing to take the risk, in the end you could probably ebay the gi if it doesn't fit.

I have seen batch 1-6 and they always turn out great. I'm sure this will be no different, not to mention its a pre-order so I imagine real pictures will be released and you can cancel if need be.

I got an A3slim from batch 5 (I am 6' 170-175) and it is too big for me-too wide in the body and way too long in the arms. I tried to shrink it-washed and dried hot 5x and still too big. If you didn't get an A2 the regular A3 will be way too big. :icon_sad:

Shiiit! ^Do we really need to wait 6 months for the batch 7? I was reading the first pages and some said it's dropping down this month, not sure. This sucks, I even wanted a white one since I already have the batch 6 blue..

I dont think Batch 7 will be 6 months, more like 2 months but not 100% sure on that.

thanks for the info! I already placed a pre order for the A2, so fingers crossed! Though I called into Budo (the guy suggested an A1, but it didnt really seem like he was paying attention to what I was describing, to be honest...), and they said they will have a booth at worlds and will be selling them there!!! So I will just try one or two and snag one then and there, and would be more than happy to transfer or whatever my preorder to anyone who wants it.

That would be awesome. My cousin lives in Fair Oaks so I make it down every so often. Gotta be killer havin a Leo Vieira BB in Folsom.
