Social Should transgenders be allowed to become airline pilots?

They should have to pass strict psychological testing so make of that what you will... Tbh at this point I'd rather fly Malaysian over Donetsk than any third world American airline.

So in Sherlogic people who commit suicide usually decide to take people with them rather than quietly hang themselves or jump off something tall?

But for every trans pilot that’s basically like having two pilots in one.

Now imagine having two trans pilots in the same cockpit. You would practically have four pilots flying one airplane..

Those are pretty good numbers.

And this % of people are drug addicts, and this % of people are criminals, and so on and so on. You can’t deny a person a job/profession because of suicide rates. You would get your asses sued off.

By this logic, you can use your own OP to make the case on why males shouldn’t be allowed to be pilots either. You state they have a .6% of chance being suicidal, thats more than 1 out of every 200 pilots that may just take the whole thing down.

Except they'd have passed the psych exams and will usually be very privleged and happy people. As I said earlier in the thread - great job, great wage, highly desired men because they "jetset" for a living etc. If the tranny makes the grade he's probably well functioning and not a manic depressive.

You couldn't use the suicide bit as a criterion for hiring them. They can be hired like anyone else. I'm sure no one would think it was fair to be denied a job because of stats related to your identity, and it would be illegal most places.
