Well - that's not entirely true - mostly depends on what State you live in.

I can do both in my State...

There aren't dumbass blade laws. I can carry any type of knife or blade I want.

interesting. which state is this anyways? (i dont live in the US so excuse my lack of knowledge on all the laws)

what if its in his jacket pocket or the holster is in his jacket. or some drunk gets into a fight with him and he panics.

What if some drunk gets behind the wheel of a car and takes out a whole family?

Arizona.

I routinely carry a knife that would get me arrested on other states.

Benchmade Infidel.

oh look they got a dumb law in switzerland. lets do the same. i've heard saudi arabia has some dumb laws too. want to copy them? lol

No. Orlando was a CIA psyop. I am not a gun or gun culture fan and I accept that allowing citizens to have guns causes a lot of death, suicide, robbery, fatal accidents etc. But I believe in individual rights so I am for the right to own guns.

The right to a well armed milita stuff is ridiculous though, that was in the 18th century, you can't do anything to a 21st century army with small arms alone.

thats why drinking and driving is illegal. it should be same for carrying a firearm in public. i can buy the argument of keeping a gun in your home. but walking around in public with it? fuck that.

Because you might run into someone who doesn't care that you're not supposed to carry a firearm in public.

You really have a problem with conceal carry?

I can understand open carry. It doesn't bother me and I see it all the time but I think it's stupid.

no because it becomes too easy for 2nd amendment nutjobs to shoot people

Right, well, you don't have to carry a gun. That's your right. I will, as it is my right. We just recently passed open carry in Texas, so we are loosening restrictions, not increasing them.

PS, everyone I know owns firearms, even my grandmother keeps a pistol in her purse. I don't know any 2nd amendmant nutjobs that've ever shot anyone. My 85 year old grandmother is not going to give up her pistol just so you can feel safer.

Do you know what the homicide rate in Switzerland is? They have like 50 murders a year out of a population of 8 million. Now look at a place like Honduras, also 8 million, who have total restriction on firearms and they have the highest homicide rate in the world.

You don't even live here, what do you care what we do with our laws?

I like how instead of explaining your position, you sent me links to shitty Rolling Stone articles written by nobodies. Have these people told you what you should believe?

The essence of the 2nd amendment is to protect one self from tyranny. Without the 2nd amendment, what is to protect us from tyranny in the US? Are we to simply put all of our trust into the federal government?

Do you trust law enforcement to protect you from the criminal element? (Mind you, when seconds matter, police are minutes away.)

If "All the mass shootings and death toll" is the issue, where is the call to outlaw automobiles that kill over 43,000 people in the US every year? (Again, 248 deaths by rifles in general, that includes assault rifles.)

Cars are different story most of them are accidents where most guns are being used just kill
people and the idea having some guns is going to protect you against government tyranny isn't
going to happen.

People and the idea having gun free zones is going to protect your from armed criminals isn't going to happen.

With vehicles, sometimes it's an accident. If you choose to do something like speed or drink and drive, that's no longer an accident. That's a conscious decision.

I would suggest that you study history. Unarmed populations are victim populations.

Urban/Guerilla warfare would be a nightmare in the united states. There are millions and millions of guns owned in the US and gun owners would never give them up lightly. While the population is armed, there is hope for freedom and liberty.
