Should McGregor submit Dustin this time?

I like how the question is posed as if Conor could just submit him just like that if he chose to. He only has one career submission and 0 attempts in the UFC so I’d say highly unlikely. This fight likely gets done on the feet.

Because Conor outwrestled Holloway while Dustin couldn't do shit to him with obvious weight advantage. Dustin's grappling is C level at best. He got subbed very easily to Beef, got manhandled by Hooker.. lol Hooker looked like a great wtestler when compared to Dustin at that fight.
Conor and max are/were to young stand up fighters . That meant little. I'm talking on a specific comment. I'm not saying the heartless Irishman is void of ground skills . These are now opinions and I dont care whst Eddie fucking Bravo says.

Action > words

Poor Sherdog is gonna be some upset when Conor knocks Dustin silly again.

Conor has become insanely underrated by many over the last few years.

I never said that actually.

I said that id be confident in Conor comfortably winning on points against Dustin. We haven't seen any submissions from him. While I'm sure he knows how to do them, if there's no track record then it won't be something I bet on.

His technique, positional iq and fluidity is just better.

I know when someone is being honest and when they're just trying to hype someone up. Why would Eddie try to hype Conor up? He's not his fighter. He doesn't know him.

And no. It's not just Eddie. If you ask any grappling mind on earth, they would tell you his jits Is very good.

The fact that you're questioning it tells me you're not very aware at all.
You didn't make the comment but the origin of our back and forth is coming from that.

.....and I FUCKING DO QUESTION it ( the level you and bravo are talking about ).

Oh- I guess that means I dont know what I'm watching.
Lol.
Happy Thanksgiving

Dustin's never been a takedown guy. His grappling is definitely more submission-based and is set up by his boxing, which is why prime Conor is a stylistic nightmare for him.

In terms of their pure grappling, it's apples & oranges. Taking from a similar opponent (Holloway in 2012 & 2013). Conor scored 4 out of 5 takedowns and held control for nearly six and a half minutes. Dustin tried for 3 takedowns and only scored 1, but finished by submission in less than 90 seconds. So it's a question of who can get it down vs what they can do with it.

yes, he should

but he won't
there are only two ways this can end and in both of them Dusty die

To make a statement. Or just KO him stiff like last time? He has already proven to be most deadliest puncher and kicker but he needs some scalps on his grappling department. He has all the tools but usually he kust dominates on feet
Lol. He couldn't submit anyone, let alone Poirier.

This is so baseless, I dont even know what to say.
Becsuse " conors training team/ yes men " say he this great grappler.
Back when I trained at Mjolnir in Reykjavik (where Gunnar Nelson trains out of) Conrad was always training with Gunnar as well. This was years ago (around the Brendao fight) but Conrad already stopped doing any "public training" at the gym with BJJ guys because he was getting subbed by blue belts. . . Obviously he's probably improved to where its mostly purples and above subbing him, but his ground game is not very good, and he is *not* confident in it. I mean. . . just look at what happens when he goes to the ground. Dusting on the other hand has solid sub defense for the most part and actually knows some offensive grappling.

People keep saying that the guys Conor beat before have changed, but still bring up old negative observations about Conor. Lol

that's an old school troll job (and account), from back in the day when we was beating siver and those guys. almost makes me nostalgic.

In immortal words of nate diaz

Conor is not a grappler, hes learning how to counter wrestle so he can strike

But please dont kid yourself or troll others with this idea that hes some how high level at grappling...

To be fair Conor has spent a lot of time partying and spending his money, I dont think its unfair to suggest he might not have progressed to the same degree some former opposition might have.

boy I hope dustin knocks out this drunk idiot into irrelevancy

lol I will gladly suicide my account if Conor ends up subbing Dustin. He may have some skills on the ground to avoid trouble, but let's not get carried away here, Conor is not subbing him.

But anyone can see that his grappling has evolved since 2015 when he fought Mendes, for example.
Also Dustin was not even close to Conor’s level when they fought the first time, so to think that he’s progressed so much that he will go in there and put Conor with ease is nothing but stupid.
