Should I be wearing a cup during BJJ class?

If you want to. A lot of people do, I don't. I feel it gets in the way, but some people won't get on the mat without one.

Ok I was just making sure I wasn't making some kind of rookie mistake. I have had a few close calls but nothing major and it crossed my mind that maybe I should be wearing one and no one had informed me.
