Though there's a lesson here that mirrors what I heard about Plato in a philosophy podcast. I think it was after the host described Plato's allegory of the cave that he posed an ominous question. What's the point of life if humans don't even understand the reality of our own existence (one of the take-a-ways from the cave allegory)?

His answer:
The friendships you make along the way.

Bigwaverider was a mountain of a man when you hold him to Plato's standard and measure him by his friendships. Drink a beer with your buddies and share some laughs while your here. That's literally the point of life.
