Shogun is a legend of the sport. I had the chance to meet him three times, and he's just a nice guy.

I wish he retires before getting a too big KO loss. He has done a lot for the sport and it's the perfect time to say goodbye. He has nothing more to prove.

Rio is the bjj city and Curritiba(sp?) was the thai city, it's been a rivalry for years now. More than likely Shogun was booed because of this. If any of u are old enough to remember BTT vs Chute Boxe? Also back when Vitor kod Wand in 30 seconds, he didn't yell " Jiu Jitsu " because of a sweet sub, it was because of the rivalry that already was hot between the two styles and two cities.
