**Sherdog WAIT!** There is one wagon left and you all know it will never be derailed.

No man is invincible...

...except for Bones Jones.

Im not sure that jones will retire without ever being derailed but i dont think dc is the one to do it. I could see jones losing to werdum tho.
Yeah there's a few difficult match ups for him at HW, although I don't see anyone touching him at lhw.

As much as I dislike Jones, he doesn't even belong in the same category as those fighters. He's already solidify himself as one of the true GOATs. Nothing that happens from here on out will change that. Even if he lost. The only thing he has left to achieve is to become the undisputed GOAT. I think only a move up to HW can do that.

I think Rockhold could give Jones some problems on the ground and on the feet.

jones is one of the greats, but he's one of the most unlikeable mma fighter with his trolling and fake humble nice personality. as much as i don't think dc will defeat jones in a rematch, i'll be rooting for dc to pull off the upset so jones can get a taste of his own medicine.

I agree that jones is the best, no reason to hate on conor though. he always shows up and fights anyone. great for the sport

As a Jones fan, his sobriety both excites and scares me. He's got that type of personality where if he's not partying, he's doing something hard. I assume that has become training. And if training is his new drug, he's going to be a monster none of us can even imagine. It will be amazing to behold. So long as he stays healthy. And let's not kid ourselves that overtraining to injury isn't common in this sport.
sobriety sounds good but judging from the latest interviews with im not sure where he is mentally
he seems like hes angry/annoyed as fuck even though hes all smiling and complimentary

then again maybe im just retarded

Yeah Jones is a different kind of freak.

He can get some losses and his status won't change. He will beat every LHW at least 8/10 times.

Jon will get knocked out at HW. Plus DC is going to win the rematch.

Meh, he'll get derailed if he actually mans up and steps up and takes risks inside the cage. We're talking about a guy who's biggest risk is eye gouging his opponents. He could get DQ'd or lose a point which in the Gus fight would've been a draw or a loss. We're talking about a guy who ducks HW. At least Conor, Silva, Fedor ain't scared to fight the bigger men. This is also a guy who wouldn't fight Chael Sonnen on short notice. This guy can never be GOAT in my book. We saw what happened to Conor when he wasn't the bigger man. Jones should step up and at least fight someone like Browne.

Jones doesnt take any risks, cant fight short notice doesnt move up, he only take risks when he is behind the wheel.

Jones is an asshole but that has more to do with him being the most dangerous man in the world from such a young age. He came in and made jokes out of my era of MMA elites. Made Shogun tap to strikes, dropped Machida like a sack of potatoes. Mopped the floor with everyone else. Didn't even train for the Gus fight, and still won.

The job was too easy for him obviously. He got distracted, got into bad habits. But he's a young man. He will learn.

Make no mistake about it, the world has never seen another martial artist like Jon Jones. The man was just about to take MMA seriously, then he got into trouble with the law. He's had a good amount of time to explore the downside of his bad decisions. He was so close to breaking GSP's record, Anderson's record. He said that's what he always aimed for. No man was going to stop him, but himself. He lost his belt to his arrogance. He lost to himself.

Life is a learning experience, Jones will learn. Would also help if he someone forced him to bring out the best version of himself. Cormier is not that man. Rumble isn't either.

I'm certain we will see that change in his life both in and out of the cage when Jones moves to Heavyweight.

Jones will lose at the shitty HW division at one point.

Jones will learn

I'm not making a huge case of it but he doesn't seem to be the standard poster boy even after all the shit he done. I wouldn't bet 1 cent on Jones behavior in the future, he's not reliable definitely.
