Mateusz has pulled out of this year's WSM. Man we may never see him compete at 100% ever again. Hopefully he gives next year a shot after truly fully recovering.

Not a good sign he has been struggling for sometime unlikely see him ever win a WSM event.

Brian is a Mutant , this is his last best chance , the events favour the Taller athletes for the WSM , big Loz mentioned it so Tom should be the big favorite with Shaw having a solid shot. Also now that JF is pretty much done , there aren't many in the field that are as statically powerful as Shaw.

Brian is a Mutant , this is his last best chance , the events favour the Taller athletes for the WSM , big Loz mentioned it so Tom should be the big favorite with Shaw having a solid shot. On the positive side when he was talking to Big Loz he talked about how they were able to get h immediate surgery because the sport has better backing now than 10 years ago. A great career ends but they can at least salvage him living like a regular Joe now.

Sorry I met Mateusz not Brian I think Brian has a big hill to climb he needs to win the deadlift and the stones to get anther one.

I hope he can keep promoting and grow the sport in Canada. It blows my mind how fee people know about him here.

Mark Felix Turned 56 yesterday. Happy Birthday to Mark , would have been interesting if he had gotten into the sport in late 20s and Early 30s.

It always trips me out how Brian Makes Massive Dudes like Max look small.

Power Stairs in the Finals is going to be one of those Break out Events Tom and Brian will have a bigger advantage because of their Height, Tom being younger should be quicker. Martins and Oleksei are so athletic that despite being shorter I wouldn't doubt their ability to save points in this event.

Plus it was at Europes so there might be a slight advantage for some people who are doing both like Oleksei and Luke S, i know the Stoltmans trained it before europes in prep for both.
