Martins played it smart this year he avoided doing Shaws, Arnold and WSM just to set himself to being ready for Rogue. He knew the field was going to be the deepest by far this year and wanted to be as ready as he could have made himself. Martins still a big dude he is not a 400 lb dude like Tom and Brian he needed to be focused Novikov had an insane schedule this year it included England's strongest, WSM Europe, WUS and WSM and another event too if he focused he would have won the whole thing.

I think Licis is all the way back , he probably could have risked one of the those early comps but he decided to be patient. Expect him to run a more taxing schedule built around peaking near the WSM next year.

It's marvelous to see him all the way healed up from Injury, hopefully Metuez is fully healthy next year . Tom , Martins , Mateuz and Aleksei should be battling for years to come and you got Evan and Trey also improving Strongman is in a a great era right now and it's getting better coverage and better prize money and sponsors for the athletes.

He set a worlds record picking up a 300 lb Thor's hammer lol. Funny because hacksmith built a Thors hammer that weighed around 200 lbs for Halfthor so this is one upping Hacksmith's high tech hammer.

@PEB Rogue Invitational was wonderful for the even , good tests of strength that were TV friendly and easy to view coverage unlike the WSM which still refused to do any Live coverage because of the their stupid outdated TV agreements.

He has actually lived in the Continental US. Longer than I have.
