Time to step up Sherdoggers a 140 lb girl just lifted 5 times her weight lol. I posted a video about this girl in the past to funny but was a 3 year old video she's been practicing.

Was watching it yesterday and still think this is one of the dumber strength events out there. Good for her though the other competitors much bigger than her couldn't even get it off the ground.

True about dumber but it was featured on the history channel strongest men in history. It gained a following mostly in Europe. Also it's one of the earliest examples of a strength test an Iceland's Husafell stone.

I think the dinnie stones and all the other historic stuff is cool and unique, would love to try them one day

Read an update on JF. He completely tore two ligaments which have been successfully reattached and turns out there was no bone fracture. Hope the big man can make a full recovery.

Read an update on JF. He completely tore two ligaments which have been successfully reattached and turns out there was no bone fracture. Hope the big man can make a full recovery.

The 2022 Arnold Strongman Classic (ASC) on Mar. 4-5, 2022, saw 10 of the world’s best strongmen competing for a first-place prize purse of $80,000. 2019 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Martins Licis emerged victorious with 41 total points. 2020 WSM champion Oleksii Novikov finished as the runner-up — 3.5 points behind Licis — despite getting very little sleep during the week leading up to the competition due to the ongoing Russian military invasion of Ukraine. Novikov was to be awarded $25,000.

During the award ceremony, Arnold Schwarzenegger remarked that a Ukrainian strongman (Novikov) and a Russian strongman (Evgeny Markov) competing in the same competition sends a message to the world:

No wars! Peace! Peace!

Novikov is set to return to Ukraine and help defend his home country against Russian forces. Before the competition, he made it known that any winnings he earns from the 2022 ASC would be put towards helping Ukrainian civilians acquire body armor. Schwarzenegger elevated that message, both in his speech during the award ceremony and by increasing Novikov’s prize purse to equal that of first place — $80,000.

Gotta agree that is ridiculous. Also cant imagine benching with that wide of a grip either. I worry sometimes mines a little narrow

LOL the regulatory body has to look into this because there is a lot I see wrong with it and could be problematic. I did wide grip for training but for working the outside pec. area "in addition to cable crossovers" she's using a loophole in the system and exploiting the crap out of it. lol again too much.

He's compelling guy , but in the feud with Thor he comes off as a Diva and in the lead up to their bout he looks ridiculous.

She's technically withing the rules. Index finger on or inside the rings, butt on bench, feet flat. I can't think of an easy way to fix it, you could try implement elbow depth on the chest like with hip height on squat but that could have its own difficulties

Personally I can't wait for it to all be over. I liked most of Eddies videos before this but haven't been to his channel in ages

It's a dumb rule that needs to change because she is exploiting her size and basically setting world record before she goes to the squat and deadlift giving herself a significant points advantage going into the other events even then her deadlift must be nuts too.
