His deadlift has improved well and he's a solid stone lifter, if he can avoid dropping too many points in the keg and deadlift he's got a real chance

I know it was emotional moment for them when they both made the Finals in 2019 , a double podium topped by Tom's coronation would be something else.

Train thing is amazing it seems.

Tom's looking absolutely ridiculous right now. His speed on the medley and turntable is absolutely mad. Atlas Stones is another almost certain win for him. He'll do top 3 in the Keg Toss (maybe even 1 or 2) and he'll get good points on the Log Lift and Deadlift as well.

Luke's doing good as well so far. He'll do great at the Log and good at the Stones as well. Keg and Deadlift will be the tricky events for him. He's made some great improvements there, so I'm very curious to see where he'll end up.

Janashia could end up on the podium as well. Would be absolutely awesome for him. He's had some shit luck with injuries, so I'd love to see him make an epic comeback.

Shaw did great on the Medley, but lost a lot on the Turntable. I don't see him catching up to Tom anymore. He might still have a shot at the podium, but that will still be a hard battle for him.

Keg toss results coming in

Looking like Tom is getting top 3 at least - very good to keep consistent

The height jumps are ridiculous though. We have 5 guys tied at 6.75 meters. They should have done much smaller jumps. And let athletes skip a jump if they want to.

A near flawless first day for Tom

Brian needs to make up over 5.5 points over deadlift and log as he's not winning the stones. I don't think it can be done but who knows

His only chance is if Tom has a disastrous Deadlift . I don't see him faltering in the Log Lift . Tom isn't great at the Deadlift but there are enough really solid guys here to make separation, although Shaw isn't close to what he could do in years past

I'm glad jf podiumed last year, cause I don't think it's happening again this time around. Super surprised by maxime though

Yeah Tom isn't great and log or deadlift but I think he'll beat or not be far off Brian which is all he needs to do now. It's such an advantage being all but guaranteed 10 points from stones

He struggles hard with deadlifting which will probably hurt him a lot. If he can do ok there I can see him on the podium.

I've kept an eye on him ever since Martins had to pull of a hell of the comeback to beat him in an Arnold qualifier a while back

Brian said something interesting he has not been at 100 percent and he did not want to risk injury before the last events. He may feel like he has something nagging got him worried. He sid say his stamina is good from training at altitude.

You must be talking about Maxime, cause JF is one of the best deadlifters on the planet.

With regards to Max, I'm surprised he got through the stone-off. Happy, but surprised.

According to Loz - there's talk of JF picking up a minor hamstring injury. Not good for his deadlift at all

Yes that was what hurt Brian during Arnold Schwarzenegger sports festival.

Speaking of Brian here he is breaking the Keg toss world record followed by lol USA chants.

EDIT: Oh CBS is pissed off about how people have been viewing results and content an is seeking major changes next year to stop or change the format next year.
