No, but I do post in the WR often, majority of my posts are in the Sports bar, but I have lots of postsSo, if we examined your posts most of them would be in the WR other than this thread to get your buddy Palis elected?
lol at @Lead's inability to follow his own rules while pretending he's not bias as fuck.
What a sham. Should change his name to @microcosm.
There wasn;t a rule in place for a person asking to be taken off the list and then subsequently asking to be added back and vote. The only person at fault for this entire thing is Aged Flatus being a complete dumbass.
He was removed before he voted so it had nothing to do with Palis.
Call it what you will, but the list was set and the dude didn't want spammed. He never asked to be removed from voting eligibility. Regardless, there's no precedent for removing someone from the rolls so if you don't count his vote that's a bit hypocritical. Can't say the list is the list and then decide to remove someone. That's what the next cycle is for. Or at least that's what you say when convenient.![]()
Again, this isn't a problem and it opens two scenarios. You are comparing someone being asked to be ADDED vs Removed. When someone asks to be added, you would assume the election results would change. When someone asks to be removed you assume nothing will change because they don't want involved and would be an asshole to come back and vote and then complain. For you're argument to work, you would have to take positon 1
1.) The registry is locked in every sense, including removals even by request of the user. Aged Flatus never should've been removed from the beginning cause he didn't have the power to remove himself from the list after Round 1.
2.) A user can only be removed by their own request. Once done, they are seen as any other user not on the registry after Round 1 and cannot request to be added.
It isn't hipocritical cause at the time I did it, the thinking was it wouldn't have affected the result of the election.
It's bullshit to not allow his vote is he was eligible at the time you "locked" the registry. If you're going to be such a stickler you won't change a guy's vote who made an electronic error then you really have no justification here for changing the list that you said was set in stone. His vote counts or it's bullshit.
I showed the two options and both have their own merit. The reason he was removed is because I didn't think he would then vote. He put this on himself and I could care less about all the whiny for him. It's about which option is better between the 2. He made the system look bad for no reason other than being an asshole.
Let me get this straight. Your intuition and someone's disposition are what makes for revocation of eligibility? That's not really a justification for removing someone while refusing to add long time posters or fixing an errant ballot. The word for that is rationalization.

You are constantly ignoring what I said. The point is here. Everything else is just me bitching about how stupid Aged Flatus is which doesn't factor into anything. I just want to make it clear how stupid he is.
You're refusing to actually take the two clear options I'm showing and twisting every post I make. I'm not arguing for either option at this point. I'm just saying they are the only two which make sense. You just keep crying for the one you want which isn't something I'm arguing against you about. Lead says hey Cubo, since this ridiculous hypthoethetical came up, there has to be a ruling for these two scenarios while Cubo says thats bullshit Lead, 1 is the best!. I never said 1 wasn't the best. I'm telling you it's those two options and one needs to be decided on.
I made that post BEFORE Hans made the one above about the lock too so I'm not suddenly being more honest about this. I got it down to this without Hans input because Hans doesn't care about what the right option is. That's why he bitches about Stoic1 nonstop while he's silent when that Egon guy came in asking.
Egon is a WR poster, too. I vouch for him.Umm, that didn't help your case
Also, you can't get on now cause it's after round 1. We had a whole week where regulars could come in and asked to be added if they didn't see their name. It's not a perfect system but it did okay this year around and the list will likely increase next year
Look bro, I wasn't really paying that much attention. I was just piling on when I saw an opportunity.![]()
