@Madmick

I think this is a big hint Sony is in development of a 3rd game.

TLO2's narrative would have alot of filler if it was split up between two seasons, and this indirect announcement of a 4th season... 3 seasons to adapt the 2nd game?

I'm not buying it.

Could be, but I see it more as an attempt to keep Pedro around as long as possible for his star power. TLOU2 is extremely long, more than enough for 2 seasons, probably even a third if writers fill in the gap between games.

I could see them stretching it out to 4 seasons if they expand on the characters more. Which I think they will do more of after how much people loved the bill episode.

I never touched the second one and I don't know what happened in it. The fact it exists is an insult to the structural perfection of the first.

Perfection is a powerful thing. Greed's stronger.

I hope it's not just a re-release of the 97 PC port (which is already free to install and mod off of archive.org).

Looks like it is the original port ( with ports of 2+3 coming also) with improvements on GoG (can buy separately or in a bundle for all 3)

  • Full compatibility with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • All 4 localizations of the game included (English, German, French, Japanese).
  • Improved DirectX game renderer.
  • New rendering options (Windowed Mode, Vertical Synchronization Control, Gamma Correction, Integer Scaling, Anti-Aliasing and more).
  • Improved timing of the cutscenes.
  • Improved game video player.
  • Improved game registry settings.
  • Issue-free game exit and task switching.
  • Full support for modern controllers (Sony DualSense, Sony DualShock4, Microsoft Xbox Series, Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, Logitech F series and many more) with optimal button binding regardless of the hardware and wireless mode.

A bit disappointing but at least it's only $10.

Is this similar to what consoles do where you can clip something that happened in like the last 5 minutes or so? In that it's automatic and you don't have to do anything other than tell it when to create the clip.

Ngl, this is pretty wild, but considering your backlog, are you surprised?

Steam users have spent $19 billion on games they’ve never played

I’ve been accumulating a backlog since about 2007. Prior to that I typically played all the games I bought, but for whatever reason starting in 2007 my rate of buying outpaced my rate of playing such that I have games in my backlog that I bought in 2007 that I still have never played. I’m looking at you, Hellgate: London and Clive Barker’s Jericho!

I feel you. I have a steam backlog and I don't even have a machine to play them on at the moment. Haven't had one for at least a few years.

I never understood it personally. Almost everything in my game library is a game I beat or a game I just didn't end up liking. I always play one game at a time.

Sometimes even if a game is on sale and I know I'm going to play it soon I still wont buy it and I end up paying full price after.

That's the best policy, to only buy when you're ready to play it. But it's so tempting when they're dirt cheap on sale.

It is very tempting and I'm not going to lie and say I've never done it. I just do my very best to avoid it.

Honestly though what I've noticed for a while now is it just seems like sales are constant now. I don't think PSN ever stops having sales. The games on sale rotate of course but there's always a sale going on. Obviously on PC with all the sites somewhere someone is having a sale and usually multiple sites.

Ubisoft in full panic damage control. They're practically giving away their games to rally back the fans they alienated with the AAAA nonsense with Skull and Bones.
