It's likely next. I know some argue that although JDM has the weaker and later streak, he has a bigger UFC streak and book ended it with the bigger and more relevant win, so that argument goes back and forth with Shavkat's. But he's also injured, so ya gotta figure it's Shavkat, and it's just a matter of giving Belal a reasonable turn around time since winning

I wouldn't be surprised if Dana made Belal vs Usman instead & makes Shavkat vs Ian/JDM as a title eliminator. But JDM is hurt right now hence the reasoning of him not being talked about being the next guy to face Belal.

Colby on the other hand is nowhere near a title shot.

personally, I'm a stickler for cardio and In that fight with geoff neal i felt like he was fading a bit in the third. Maybe im misremembering, but I have no 5 round data on him yet.

Usman has 3 losses in a row and I doubt the UFC wants Belal to win again. I doubt Usman gets a title shot.

I believe JDM is the true No 1 contender right now too, but the only thing is that he's hurt. That's why the names of Shavkat & Usman are floating around. If JDM were healthy I would imagine he'd be getting the next crack at Belal. But with JDM out & Usman on a losing streak, Shavkat being next to face Belal makes the most sense.
