September 11, 2001-A Tribute

Wonder. I am always impressed with your posts. They are always shrouded in honor and decency.
I worked at Cantor Fitzgerald In the Chicago office. During my time there I made several trips to the building and also made several friends at the firm. I lost touch with a lot of them but some ties ramained strong and in tact. There are (were) three guys in particular that I would spend social time with everytime I would visit N.Y. wich is about once a month. All Of my business activities are firmly entrenched in the workings of downtown and middle Manhattan. In addition I spent numerous years in law enforcement before my current gig.
I and people around me for business purposes have direct ( constantly open phone lines) to customers in the WTC. After the impacts we had the great displeasure of listening to people begging for anyone to help them and subsequently screaming while we watched it all unfold before our eyes on the "big screen" One of my close friends and business associates had to watch from an adjacent building while his best friend and ex-college room mate burned to death. I could go on and on but whats the point. Too many funerals, too many crying widows and fatherless children staring off into space not knowing what " He's/She's gone" could possibly mean. Too much sorrow from unarmed civilians that I only knew as good hardworking people. I can feel for your loss. I guess this is why I get so enraged at these anti American and anti-U.S. Gov threads. I know I should just ignore them, but I am still a little sore, as I am sure you are.
I have prayed, I have wept and now the time has come to eliminate the source of this unforgivable Evil.

What a great post shido! My friend who passed worked at Cantor Fitzgerald. From what i understand they lost 650 or so employees. I agree with you wholely. I have so many stories because so many people in this area were effected in so mant different ways. Like you said whats the point. Words cannot express what they must have felt and I think we are better off not knowing. May they rest in peace. They are all safe and sound in a better place, we are the ones left to deal with it.

As I have read all of your posts, for the first time in months,I am once again proud to serve this great nation. In the comming months I will once again be forward deployed trying to rid the world of tyranny and another ruthless dictator. As I can see your sadness and grief, I will remember these stories as I take my gun crew and send forth steel rain on all who oppose freedom and liberty. I hope that those of you who have felt this great loss will take relief in the fact that as you sleep, some asshole who robbed our loved ones of their lives, will be eating a bullet big enough and strong enough to wipe out a city block. Revel in the fact that when the Marines bring out our Howitzers, there is NOWHERE THESE COWARDLY BASTARDS CAN HIDE. We will SEEK and we will DESTROY! We will not fail, and once this guys done we're moving on to the next one.

Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle, for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy, and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.

Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor. Rangers Lead the Way.

That's the 5th and 6th stanza of the Ranger Creed. Haji's everywhere, beware. Sherdog's finest are comin' for ya!

Im sorry for the events that unfortunately happened on september 11, the angst and sorrow of people who lost anyone on that they, I only hope this kind of horror stops and we could live in a more civilized world, Terrorism should be severly punished as war should be avoided.

Peace and God Bless the Whole World.

Unfortunately I have neve been in New York the closest I have been was Rochester. I regret not making the trip to New York but nothing could be done now. but I want only if possible to see pictures of the inside of the Twin Towers could anyone post some pictures of the inside, of the art collection inside, the restaurants and anything else for all the people like me that wont be able to see that anymore.

Wow! All I can say is thanks for your courage and willingness to serve and stand between us and the evil of this world. I can never express with words how gratefull myself and my family are for your sacrifices. We will never again turn our backs on our service Men and Women in this Nation. ( I never have ) As long as we have strong and moral leaders in power, you guys will have the necessary support to do your jobs while recieving minimal damage. Beware the weak and Immoral, (like Clintons and Gores) They will welcome the barbarians into our gates and facillitate the demise of our Nation and Freedom.

One post in the last four days, would anyone mind if I unstuck this. I think it's served it's purpose.
